We were in Nafplio for just a night while driving through Greece. The Polyxenia Hotel is in such a great location, and we were fortunate to get a room. We should have asked for parking information ahead of time, though. You *can* drive through this part of the old town, but it's a headache. There is some parking nearby, though....

Alexandra and her sister maria who run this hotel greeted us with beautiful smiles and a warm welcome. The hotel is in a quiet location, very clean. Breakfast every morning was magnificent. Will go back to them.

Very good location close to the center, clean and nice room with adequate facilities, friendly and kind stuff! The only disadvantage is that the sound insulation is quite bad. We definitely recommend it

Unfortunately a bad experience. At least it does not happen to us often, and it was only a booking for two nights. But we need to mention this for other travelers to know. We visit Nafplio 4-5 times per year from 1996. As a result we have stayed in different hotels, so we have a very good opinion about the...

From the moment we were collected at the airport by Maria we felt like we are visiting old friends. The airport transfer was like a mini guided tour with photo stops. This charming family run hotel feels like your home away from home and is centrally located in the old town. The breakfast is amazing and includes, Greek yoghurt, fruit,...

Very well located, good value for money, friendly staff with excellent local knowledge. The 2 sisters running this hotel make a great team. Small boutique hotel in a character full 19th century building.

A great hotel located at the center of Nafplio. The personnel was very polite and helpful. The room we stayed was at the first floor. It was cozy and clean. Everything worked as it would ( the air conditioning, the bathroom etc. ). No problem at all. Quiet at night. Great price-comfort ratio. We shall revisit when possible.

Very central in Nafplio, still in a calm side street, you find hotel Polyxenia. We were first met by Maria the owner of the hotel. A very charming young lady who received us in the best possible way. Next morning at breakfast, we were met by another lady with the words "Hello, I am Alexandra - sister. Have you slept...

Stayed here for 3 nights recently to begin our travel in Greece, we made a sound decision to arrive here straight from Athens Airport despite the long flight and need to travel for 3 hours after touching down in Athens. This beautiful and serene old town is a far cry from the crowded and chaotic Athens. To top it up,...
