Reception staff were extremely helpful and obliging. Our room was in the newer part of the building with fabulous views from the window. The room was very well appointed with comfortable beds and a modern bathroom. The building is in a spectacular position on top of a hill with views all the way round. Excellent restaurant too. A grand castle with history and beauty along with outstanding service. Perfect in every aspect.P lenty of party topside. The access road is narrow and only built for a single car. Great selection of bar snacks and of course the full restaurant is also available.

Stunning building based around original castle, with fantastic views across countryside. Pleasant reception, courtyard, cafe/bar and rooms. Guided tour of original tower, chapel and cloisters available. Possible to walk down into old town with interesting buildings and under ground tunnels.

This was our first Parador of a 14 day trip. We were over whelmed by its architural beauty. We were offered a 2 story suite upgrade in one of the turrets for a small fee. We are so happy we decided to take it. Spectacular accommodations with breathtaking view of the town. Unfortunately this Parador set out standards very high... More

We were offered an upgraded room upon arrival which made our 1 night stay really enjoyable. Both dinner and breakfast met our needs delivered by professional staff who were polite and attentive. We'd used this Parador again.

Our 3rd time here and as usual accommodation & food excellent. A little difficult in getting there but once found well worth it. A short walk down to the town is nice, but a little bit of a climb on the way back.

Great testing menu amazing value €35 per person bottle of wine and large water included. Lovely presentation cannot fault it. The servers are a little clinical and do not interact is my only criticism.

An imposing building with first rate staff and very comfortable. Excellent dining. Breakfasts lacked variety, given the amount of non Spanish residents, but the ambiance made up for this. Treated to a firework display as fiesta time and thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment in the old town.

We have been to several Paradores Hotels and again we did not get disappointed. The staff aof the hotel is very friendly and the hotel as a whole is very clean, so was the room. We are looking forward to our next stay in a Paradores hotel.

Very interesting tour of the castle is worth doing for the wall paintings. The parador is walking distance of the town and the rooms are good It would be good to have a pool but not sure where, maybe instead of the outside theatre
