Stayed one night on a road trip through northern Spain. Hotel is very conveniently located for local restaurants and a very short walk to the harbour. The building has been beautifully renovated and there is a lift to get you up the 3 floors. Rooms were big and not noisy. Staff were friendly and breakfast good (continental selection including meats,... More

We stayed for one night and were pleased. The location was good, easy to walk to most of the village. The room was a good size and very clean. We received good service and the staff was helpful. Not much English is spoken, but this was not a problem. The only negative (because I am a light sleeper) was the... More

My wife and I are walking the Camino del Norte and this place was advertised every few miles so we decided to give it a go. We stayed in the Hotel not the Alberge (across the street). They advertise a room for 40 Euros but my wife thought it gloomy and noisy so we upgraded for 50 Euros with a... More

Very nice hotel with lots of style from past centuries situated in the center of Luarca. The ceilings are high and the entire room is nicely decorated. The bathroom is a room in the room with glass ceilings and a powerful but silent fan. All in all a very nice stay! The Alsa-Bus-Stop is just around the corner.

Tried to get into the Baltic Hotel but it was full - not surprisingly as it has a wonderful location. Anyway am not sure how the Villa got its three stars as it is really just a B & B with no restaurant, no bar and really a place where you stay in your room when in the hotel. Having... More

Only stayed in Luarca one night and this a more then adequate hotel for the price that you are paying. They do not have a permanent reception and english was very limited. The location is good within easy walking distance from the port.

The hotel occupies a lovely quaint and old-fashioned building in the centre of Luarca by the river, just a short walk to the sea front and 10 mins to the beach. The rooms are large and airy, with antique furniture and paintings. The building is undoubtedly worn, but there is a very welcoming, vintage feel and the breakfast area is... More

We normally stay in El Baltico on the sea front but it was full up so we went to the Villa de Luarca. The owner was taciturn and the room was cold. To be avoided if you can stay elsewhere. I agree with Turtle K about the decoration.

We stayed at Hotel Villa de Luarca for one night only as a stop off point on our journey across Northern Spain. The location is great, easy walking into the town and the harbour area. The Hotel is right on one of the main roads, but it never got very busy. There is no reception just a check in desk... More
