A nice hotel that does provide basic facilities. An excellent location that has beautiful ocean sights, multiple restaurants to choose from each evening and a particularly lovely rooftop bar. The employees accommodated all our needs. The hotel had a brilliant range of breakfast choice. I do think the pool and room do not reflect 4 stars. The room had very basic facilities (i.e. air conditioning, single beds pushed together to create a double, a basic bathroom, an adequate amount of storage space and a desk). It is smaller than it looks on photos. In comparison to other 4 star hotels and the price paid, it seemed to be quite expensive for the actual decor used and facilities provided.

Awful experience. Pool closed. All bars closed all day. Rooftop Terrrace has an amazing view but guess what it’s closed all day. No entertainment and when the kids finally did get to go in the pool it’s absolutely freezing. So bad we didn’t stay. Checked straight in and straight out. Not as advertised. Beware

Lovely hotel in a great location. Our room was modern and clean, I think there’s been an update on some of the rooms because ours didn’t look like the pictures. They’re a little on the small side but it’s not like you’re in there for long! The staff were really friendly. On our last day after we checked out there was a big storm and we got soaked, they gave us a towel because they saw we were dripping and didn’t have a room to go to, so that was really appreciated. I’ve seen lots of reviews about the swimming pool and people putting down towels to claim a bed. We didn’t use the pool but did notice it was small for the size of the hotel so I can understand why it’d be difficult getting a bed. The beach is just across the way from the hotel, there’s lots of beds there and it’s just under €20 for 2 beds and an umbrella. Or you can just Chuck a towel on the sand and stay there for free! Breakfast was amazing with lots to choose from! Knocked a star off because they didn’t have labels saying what was what on the cereals and pastries. Also didn’t look like they had anything vegan or gluten free, or if they did it wasn’t labelled. You can jump on the wooden tram from outside the hotel (you buy your tickets on there). If I’m honest I think it’s quite overpriced and not worth the cost… If you’re visiting Palma on there it takes about an hour from old town Soller and costs about €18 each way (you can get a return ticket that works out slightly cheaper and that’s not including the cost of getting from Port De Soller to old town Soller). I wouldn’t say the views are spectacular and you’re restricted with times because you have to book your journey back. We ended up getting a bus back to Port De Soller from Palma and it cost less than €3 and took about 30 minutes. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from, you’re spoilt for choice! I would definitely recommend this hotel, and we’d definitely come back 😊

Disappointed with our room (612) as just a high window but nowhere to sit outside. I’ve been numerous times before and always had an outside space. I think this one of the only rooms which doesn’t. It is also very noisy outside our window as the bar staff are tipping bottles into a crate directly below us after midnight. I have always loved coming here and the walking and location is great. Last year we were upgraded to a sea view room with balcony which was amazing! Probably won’t come back!

Really enjoyed our stay in Hotel Eden. We were half board and found the food delicious and varied over our 4 night stay. The view from our superior double was nothing short of stunning over the beach to the marina-well worth the extra cost. The bar drinks were very reasonably priced. Our only complaint was the bar refused to supply us with ice without a container and we wanted to enjoy balcony drinks before dinner-we were advised to buy ice from the supermarket. I would have thought 4 star hotel would have ice buckets and ice machines. However, overall we had a great time and the staff were great in restaurant and reception. Good central location too to enjoy the whole of the harbour front.

During our penultimate night we returned to our room having enjoyed dinner and drinks out to find several things missing from our room. Nothing of huge value …. All our phone/kindle/iPad chargers, an empty handbag etc. The concerning thing was more that someone uninvited had been through our belongings. Of course we turned the room upside down but they were not to found. We immediately went to reception report the issue. The night porter couldn’t speak English so we used google translate. He understood things had been stolen but couldn’t help and said we had to wait until the morning. In the morning I reported to the reception staff. They were unbothered - shoulders were shrugged at me and I was told it was unfortunate. I asked to speak to the manager, I spoke to a lady call Joanna. I don’t know where to start with Joanna. She is the rudest women I have ever come across. Joanna needs to be removed as manager sooner rather than later. Her attitude is awful, she doesn’t care and won’t listen to any customers. She told us we were lying about the things missing in our room. I asked to see the records of our room door lock being activated etc with the room card key. At first Joanna refused, saying it was not possible, but with some persistence she agreed. What then started was a series of lies from the hotel. It was evident from the key records that someone had been in our room whilst we were out for dinner (around 8:30pm). They tried to say we had come back earlier than we had, fortunately we had receipts from our dinner restaurant and the hotel bar to prove we were definitely not in our rooms at the times she was stating. Joanna then continued with the rhetoric that we were lying. I invited her to our room to search for the chargers and handbags … she didn’t want to do this understandably. Joanna then explained that it was pointless to get the police involved and that there was nothing they could do. Quite honestly at this point we didn’t want to waste any more time on the matter - we had already spent 4 hours of our last day at reception. In hindsight I wish I had called the police, not because of what had specifically been stolen but mainly for the attitude of the staff. My husband and I were respectful and quiet in our reporting of the stolen items. We could have easily shouted and made other customers aware of what had happened. At the end of our bizarre conversation with Joanna, she laughed at us saying we were silly for reporting something some minor that had been stolen. I asked if she could do anything to make us happy and she simply said no. Not even an offer of a free beer or something to perhaps give some kind of customer service. I have sat on this information for a month and not posted anything but I actually think people need to know what is going on at the hotel. Clearly things being stolen is happening and perhaps because the items are so petty they are not being reported. We checked out of the hotel the following day, trying to not feel sad our holiday had ended on such a low. Safe to say we will return to Soller but NEVER to hotel Eden.

Excellent location, right on the beach and next to all shops and amenities. Premium room was perfect with great aircon and big private balcony. Shower was also fantastic and two sinks which is great. Breakfast was very good and a wide selection. We did not enjoy dinner as much, loads of salad selection which most seemed to eat but meat, hot food and dairy products were not of great quality, although coming from Ireland we have high expectations for these products. The hotel seem to make majority of their money from overcharging guest for drinks during food service, with even water costing 2 or more euros! We found the hotel had a sort of a strange atmosphere for example the main bar was always empty. Pool are was lovely but in the seven days we stayed we did not once get a poolside bed. The rules state that guests cannot deserve sunbeds however all sunbeds have towels over them from 8am on and staff do not enforce the rules. The reception staff, (apart from the gentleman who is on at nighttime who is so mannerly), are very inattentive and seem to have no customer service skills, in particular we found the young lady with the long hair and the taller female quite rude. I also witnessed the younger staff member be quite sarcastic and rude to a younger hotel guest. The rooftop bar has amazing views and is a must see although again the staff were not pleasant. The main man with the longer hair tied up is very very rude and acts as thought he does not want customers in the bar. We witnessed him moving guests from larger tables constantly despite the bar usually being empty? I also witnessed this man and another male staff member constantly flighting and making female customers a little uncomfortable. I think a whole staff training day in customer service is needed! Although I must say that the bartender downstairs (the bar opposite the pool) is amazing at his job, very polite, works extremely hard and generally great! He made all drinks while we were there and took them in and out of the bar. We were confused as there were other bar staff but they did not do any work? They did not know how to make cocktails and didn’t speak English everyone was ordering cocktails). All together it was a pleasant stay but a few small adjustments need to be made in order for the hotel to strive.

The main draw of this hotel is the amazing view from most of the rooms of the bay and surrounding mountains which never gets old waking up to. The hotel itself is quite nice but the rooms are a little dated. We were in a "Superior" room which didn't feel very superior. It did have a nice, big, comfy bed but there were some stains on the floor and walls and the bath/shower was a little tired. The hotel has seven floors all served by one small elevator which was a little awkward but sufficed most of the time. The buffet breakfast was great but the buffet dinner was less so, with limited choice and cheap cuts of meat, we opted to eat out instead most evenings. The staff were all friendly and helpful though and everywhere was kept clean and tidy. Overall its a decent hotel but feels more like a 3 star than a 4.
