If you want a place in which to relax in comfort whilst watching the world go by then this is it. It has to be he best location in PS. By day use the huge decked area either on a sunlounger or sofa, by night the rooftop with beautiful views over the bay and harbour. The staff are friendly & professional, full of useful information, the breakfast satisfying (tip, don't drink their awful coffee, pour two espressos into your cup & add milk) and the room comfortable with a poky shower room. The smart tv wasn't! I'd go back to The Eden because I came away relaxed, refreshed and happy.

The best thing about this hotel is it’s location. Breakfast as ok but evening meal very very average, lacked imagination and presentation, too many overpowering sauces and dressings, soups were hit and miss, desserts ok again bad presentation at times, fruit quite often dry and tasteless

We have just returned from a weekend brake at this wonderful hotel. We booked a superior sea view &. It was well worth it. The views were excellent morning & night time. We stayed in room 608. The staff were very polite & nothing was a problem. Breakfast was fab & the location was just perfect

Lovely hotel located at the centre front of this sedate resort. We are a couple who were allocated to a tiny single room on the first night - a very poor experience. Bed up against the wall, tiny shelf, air conditioning leaking water (Room 330). Fortunately upon complaining next day we were quickly re-allocating to an excellent Superior double room (Room 501). Nice pool area that unfortunately only gets sunlight on one side of it. Enough sunbeds for everyone though. Resort was busier during the day than during the evening. Lots of day trippers filling the bars and restaurants during the day. Unsettlingly sporadic and sparce bars and restaurants during the evening makes for a lack of atmosphere in this picturesque resort.

Recently refurbished the hotel is stylish, modern and clean. We had a rear view room with a large private terrace overlooking a garden. Given that some entertainment went on until nearly midnight, this was quieter than the pool and seaview rooms. The room was a good size and the two basins in the bathroom a luxury. Staff were friendly and the location superb. Although the pool is small, we always managed to find a sun bed. The pool terrace overlooks the port and it is a few steps to the beach. We had breakfast and found the variety and quality of the food to be good. No problems with food running short which was mentioned in previous posts. Roof top bar lovely for a pre-prandial drink at sunset before wandering into the port to try one of the many lovely restaurants. Also appreciated twice weekly the roof top yoga sessions - best holiday yoga we've had. Would we return - you bet!

Does anyone know the price of a taxi from the airport?
From TripAdvisor “Cost to Soller town should be approx 35 euros maybe a little more if its the port and not the town you're going to. Taxi fare last year from the airport to Port de Soller was 54 Euros. This was using the aiport taxis. It is cheaper if you use local Soller taxis as they don't charge you for the tunnel toll.”
