The breakfast is terrible. The room is terrible. The staff is terrible (one girl in the reception is fine but the rest oh my) we payed 750 for one week, so not worth it. I have traveled all over the world and I don't need much, but this hotel is very bad. The hotel is about to collapse. Need huge... More

the first thing first - this hotel isn´t a new one, I think it´s actually old and for older people - not if you´re young Our first room /323/ was horrible - dirty with weird smell, small, we had problems with opening the door and almost NO air condition - I was really angry so I spoke to manager and... As a single tourist I had a small little room, the bed was ok, the TV didn't really work - all snow! The staff was very friendly, the food was ok, the best was the buffet with salad etc. in the evening - then you had to wait, that someone was giving you soup and the main course. Sometimes you... lovely location, nice to take breakfast on sunny terrace. Helpful staff & good value. Recommend a swim before breakfast as sandy beach so near. Huge choice of restaurants nearby. Pool small on 3rd floor but loses sun by late afternoon.

I reviewed my last visit in April 2015 and hoped that some one would read it and perhaps consider the points I raised - well nothing changed - still the most bizarre system in the restaurant where you MUST sit where a stroppy bad mannered waitress decides to put your room number on the table !!! even when there are... We have stayed at the Marbell on many occasions and with out doubt there is an improvement every time. The food has greatly improved although it might not to be everyone's pallet as much of it is true Spanish casserole dishes, but very tasty. The bar staff were the best to date, very accommodating and with real personality. The restaurant... More

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights last week. First the best bits - the view is amazing we had a sea facing room with balcony which was spacious and clean. The furnishings and colour scheme are dated but adequate. The bathroom was large but the shower over the bath had a mind of its own !! Most... More

Stayed one night when our Hotel Citric overbooked and placed us there for 1 night. Not in best mood as one of our bags had gone missing between Frankfurt & Palma only to find that there was no room at the inn. Marbell was an upgrade and very close so no real problem moving for 1 night. It may be... More

I spent a couple of days in Port de Soller. Booked the hotel especially to stay far away from the more touristy areas. I contacted the hotel via email before I arrived, they were friendly and responsive and everything we discussed worked out. The hotel itself is not the newest building, and quite okay for a couple of days. The... More

This is an average hotel, and reminded me of the 1970 hotels of my childhood holidays in Mallorca! It wasn't my first choice of hotel but choice was limited during the time we were staying due to the Es Firo festival. My perception was that it caters for the mass of German tourists. When the receptionist decided to attend to... More
