This is a unique hotel in terms of design. Not your typical boring location. The spaces both the rooms and the public spaces are unique and we have found the service by the staff to be outstanding. If you want something a little out of the ordinary this is the place for you (including a very nice sauna)

This small family run hotel in the middle of delightful Garachico is far removed from the huge megahotels of southern Tenerife. The ever helpful pleasant, personal service is second to none. The hotel gives one the feeling of how it was to live in a large country house centuries ago. A great place to relax and enjoy and an excellent...

This is just a lovely place to relax with friendly staff, great food and a fab building. Not sure the dominant central piece of artwork in the courtyard adds anything and feel it would be better replaced with a traditional tree.

Dear Ajw3, I´m happy to see that you have had a nice time with us. About the art piece at the main courtyard is something that brings to debate between our clients...but I think that´s one of the aims of Art: discuss about it. We hope to see you soon in the future. Garachico is a wonderful small town with lots of good restaurants, beautiful scenery and history. The San Roque Hotel is very central, close to the pretty square. It has only 20 rooms and is very calm. It is a traditional building with two open courtyards, with lots of places to sit and read or enjoy the sun. Breakfast is included...

My partner and I stayed here for 10 days. Your other guests are mainly Brits and Germans. It's a beautiful period building set around two courtyards. Staff exceptionally helpful - and there aren't very many of them so they must have been rushed off their feet. Large enough rooms - we overlooked the road at the front of the hotel...

We stayed in room 103 over the past week. We think this is a really special hotel because the staff are extremely welcoming and kind. We were told clearly that the room was the last one on offer so it was no surprise to find it had no natural light. However it was very spacious and comfortable. There was a...

A week of bliss.. We have just spent a delightful week at this hotel. Having previously stayed before three years ago, we wondered if it would be as good. No worries on that score! Everything is perfect here. Spotlessly clean throughout, fantastic restaurant, breakfast and pool meals of a very high quality. All the staff are very very good and...

A beautiful property, small (as hotels go), but perfectly formed. Lovely swimming pool but water rather cold. Staff kind, polite and unobtrusive. Ground floor bedroom which gives out onto courtyard - a lovely room but not spacious and some compromise on privacy in view of courtyard entrance. Would have preferred a first floor room. Amazing detail to enjoy i.e. the thousand...
