I went in this parador with my husband The location is romantic. The hotel is authentic 1700. Room clean, big. The dinner good even if the waitresses were a little harried but I things was a Christmas time. I hope to return soon.

An excellent two-night stay in this very comfortable but slightly old-fashioned hotel. Good food and service in the restaurant and great place to start a wander around the medieval town. Public areas very crowded with casual visitors. Residents only area could be improved.

This parador was exceedingly difficult to find and navigate to but it was worth it! Our room for 2 nights was very dark with dark wood. It had shuttered windows opening onto a patio below where people drank wine and talked until early morning hours, It was noisy. Out the bathroom window was lovely views of the mountains. We had...

Going to Spain and staying at Paradores is turning a regular trip into a high class experience. It is one thing to stay in a regular hotel, but staying at a Palace and walking the halls of a structure that could be hundreds of years old is really something else.

This parador is situated in the middle of the old town of Santillana Del Mar. It was a house once owned by the Barreda-Bracho family at the end of the 17th century. The room that we have is a huge double bedded one, with a modern, marble bathroom, luxurious large bath towels and a great restaurant. Walking around the town...

One of many wonderful Paradors ... this one has a particularly helpful staff. All are a great bargain, especially if you take advantage of being an "Amigo de Parador" and book well in advance. The restaurants are excellent, the locations perfect,

This was the third Parador we stayed in on a week's tour of Northern Spain. Found our way through the village thanks to a previously downloaded map. Convenient parking at Parador opposite. Friendly welcome and escorted to our room. Lots of creaky floorboards, antique furniture etc. throughout the hotel make a great atmosphere. Our room looked out onto the terrace...

A wonderful experience in a truly magical location. A town locked in time with accommodation to match. nearby there were wonderful beaches and many places to visit. It was close to Santander Ferry port which meant more time could be spent sightseeing
