This place is about 8km outside of Tortosa which makes it a good base to visit the delta of the Ebre, the city of Tortosa or cycling up the valley on the old railway tracks. A delightfully renovated former olive mill tastefully decorated four room hotel with views to the mountains over avenues of olive trees. We spent 2 nights at this hotel on a cycle holiday along the River Ebro. I'm afraid it was a rather disappointing experience. Things didn't start well when we arrived (hot and tired after a long day) to find the front door shut and locked and no bell or knocker... We had to bang on the door to get any...

Hotel Panxampla is a family run four roomed rural B&B which has been added to a long established restaurant. Rooms are immaculately turned out with great views of the surrounding countryside and mountains.
