My 2. Staying at the Paragon, this time as a 3-week cure, was again a magnificent experience. Even if there were 5 years in between, it was like "coming home." The medical care and therapeutic care are so intense and beneficial. I felt extremely well looked after again. Health problems are dealt with immediately whether by day or by night. The entire staff, whether in the restaurant, by the pool, in the garden, at the reception or in the room service is always friendly, funny and devoted. The German-speaking goose care is always on hand. What can you say to dinner? Just delicious, delicious delicious. Also the offer of excursions is varied and well organized. Even every driver becomes a guide here. Everything was perfect again. The location of the hotel, according to the sea, the unique architecture of the house make everything somehow round. My first three-week stay at the Ayurveda Paragon Hotel completely convinced me of the very good quality of the treatment, the service and the accommodation. There was a very warm and serious atmosphere during the treatments and medical consultations. The hotel is also beautifully located right by the sea and is very attractively decorated with selected antiques. The architecture is also airy and spacious. The fact that the hotel is a little old actually adds to its charm for me. I was particularly impressed by the varied and healthy food and the excellent service. Highly recommended!

There isn't really much to add to all the good reviews: It was perfect in every way. Meditation and yoga by Julia and Bianca in the morning, followed by breakfast with a huge selection in a restaurant with only extremely friendly waiters, swimming in the pool or sea, snorkeling (the first colorful coral reef I've seen in many years), (some of them free) excursions, if you have any questions, the friendly staff at the reception are available around the clock. And the best thing of course: the treatments (the therapists do their job so well and are also - like everyone else in the resort - extremely friendly and caring). Ayurveda is really a feast for body and soul and you are in excellent hands at the Paragon. I'll be back

The hotel is beautifully located and has an airy and pleasant atmosphere. The staff deserves 5 stars, courteous and friendly with a sense of humor. The food is also very good, although the evening meals are not very varied for 4 weeks. We had the junior suite first, and everything was fine here. After 10 days we moved to a roof terrace room. The terrace was wonderful, but the room was unfortunately very shabby. A giant bed takes up the entire room, not recommended for two people. The bathrooms are like a bathroom in a 1* hotel, very small and stuffy (the price/performance ratio is absolutely not right here). Unfortunately, the therapy didn't work for me at all, I went home with more problems (intestinal) than when I arrived. The massages - and I would like to stress here that the girls are certainly not to blame, they are trained to do so - are pampering. I have had much, much better massages here in Asia. That's a shame, because this is part of the Ayurveda treatment.
I would particularly like to stress that the beauty pavilion is run excellently by Ms. Indika. Wonderful manicure and peeling with simultaneous massage, you feel like you are in heaven.

Since I focused my trip on a spa stay, I can only say that I do not regret my choice. The staff are always very friendly and helpful, competent and courteous. The building is showing its age, but that should not be the main focus. The chef conjures up fantastic dishes and the ladies and gentlemen in the therapy department work with passion. The yoga lessons were wonderful and the German contacts on site were always there for you. So everything was perfect...

This hotel is a wonderful experience! My first, very professional Ayurveda treatment - great medical care, everything very individual, wonderful treatments, great food (everyone should find enough as the selection is very good), excellent, friendly service. The rooms are relatively small, but fit the ambience. Last but not least: Meditation yoga (I'm a beginner here too): very good and motivating, sensitive. Conclusion: a great place to switch off and relax!!

We have been coming regularly every two years for years because we benefit greatly and sustainably from the Panchakarma treatment. We have been back for a few days and feel relaxed, detoxified, rejuvenated - and as a side effect we have lost a few kilos. Yes, the house is a bit old and there are certainly more modern spa hotels in Sri Lanka - but for us the competent medical care, the great, relaxing therapies, the friendly service, the freshly cooked food are much more important.

Despite the fact that the hotel is a bit older, it is a pleasant, open building with lots of opportunities to feel comfortable in the public areas. The best thing, however, are all the employees. They smile and are helpful with all their guests' issues, super friendly and always have a kind word. The yoga session with Sonja was a lot of fun.
