We stayed in room 44 for one night using a Travelzoo offer. We have to say that all of the staff and especially the dining room staff were very helpful, friendly and attentive. We had the Table d'hote 3 course menu as part of the offer and were very impressed with all of the courses. The cooked breakfast was also...

We have stayed at this hotel a few years ago and so I booked out Valentines outing at the Inn On The Lake. W booked for one night under a special offer 'Managers Special Dinner,, Bed and Breakfast'. I paid extra for a fell view room and we were not dissapointed - the view of the fells was lovely. The...

Stayed for 3 nights booked through secret escapes Feb 17. The hotel itself had breathtaking views and was in my mind better than the AA 4 star rating. The food was extremely good, the setting amazing and staff very attentive. The only downside was the (small) fell view room we booked - technically you could see a fell in the...

Having had an excellent experience here a couple of years ago, the afternoon tea here was disappointing. Some items, e.g. the heart shaped cake (obviously fresh for 14th Feb) was moist and really good. However, other items seemed borderline stale and certainly not good value. The views are stunning but, when attempting to eat an obviously defrosted gluten free mince...

Everything about my stay was just perfect......The accomodation, the food, the staff, the location. The hotel has an old world charm while including modern touches such as an orangery and an seperate on site bar. As part of my stay,I had arranged to have a cream tea which was absolutely delicious and was served in the orangery which has lake views. The dinner...

Arrived in the snow. Came along the dramatic Kirkstone Pass. Spectacular! Very friendly and efficient check in. All the staff were extremely attentive without being invasive. The evening meal was the best I've had in years. Wonderful.

In May 2016 we was lucky enough to have our dream wedding here. It truly was an amazing day! Unfortunately in the December Glenridding was hit by terrible flooding which delayed new building work so instead of being in the new building like we thought we was moved to the orangery which I was very worried about. I had nothing...

We went in February, and at that time of year it looked as though most people were on special deals.
