I had a 3 night stay the room was immaculate very comfy bed decent size tele plus coffee and tea in the room. All the staff were very polite and couldn't do enough for you. The breakfast was freshly made and very tasty with a fresh pot of coffee. This is a great location for travelling around this part of Ireland. Allan D

We booked very late when availability all over Northern Ireland was low and got the last room in this establishment. It was a twin room with an external bathroom. This was no issue as the bathroom was your own and not shared. We were welcomed in with a very helpful and friendly host. She explained all there was you needed to know about the property and the surrounding area. She even would have booked meals out etc. The room was small but really clean and bright. The bathroom was really clean also. It was all you would need. Breakfast was really nice. All good quality ingredients which were perfectly cooked. There was a nice balcony area for residents to use which looked out over the town. We really liked this place and will make a return visit. Although the external bathroom was sufficient we will book that little bit earlier the next time and get one of the rooms with an internal bathroom. The town itself is very friendly and welcoming. Everyone would say hello in passing and even in pubs would invite you into their company for a chat. Another good thing is in this B&B the owner does not live on site so you do not feel as you are encroaching on their privacy. My question finishing a review is would you go again. With this one very much so. It is a real find for a nice weekend away.

I cannot praise this establishment enough. We stayed here for 3 weeks due to family circumstances and were made to feel so welcome. Tracy, the owner, couldn't do enough for us, she really went above and beyond. Niamh and Jacqueline, who did breakfast were always pleasant and felt like friends with all of them by the time we left. The full Irish breakfast was excellent, but being there so long we couldn't manage it everyday and as long as we told the girls what we wanted for the next day it was no trouble for them to oblige. Our room en suite, was a pleasant haven to come back to in the evening, with a tv and tea and coffee making facilities. There was also a large screen TV in a little lounge next to the dining room where you could watch the news in the morning after breakfast. Due to Covid restrictions the bar was only open Friday, Saturday and Sunday when you could get a meal and a good pint of Guiness. The Beef dinner on Sunday was delicious and the Carrots were fantastic (thanks for the recipe Tracy) If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Thank you all for making a difficult time bearable

We booked 2 nights in Fiddler's Green as we had bought tickets to a subsequently cancelled concert in Portaferry. That was disappointing, but Fiddler's Green certainly wasn't. We were welcomed by Tracy and made to feel like old friends.
Our room at the rear of the property was spacious and had a four poster bed, which was very comfortable. The shower was large and lots of hot water. There was a small balcony with views over Strangford Lough and tea/coffee making facilities.
Breakfast in the morning was hot, excellent and plentiful.
The bar has remained closed due to covid but Tracy was happy to take us through to see one of the famous Game of Thrones doors which was installed there.
All in all we had a lovely stay and hopefully will return sometime in the future.

The room was spotless and the entire b&b was so clean. It was a great location with fabulous views. The bed was so comfy and shower was amazing. From the moment we met Tracy, we knew we had made a good choice. Tracy was so kind and helpful and she booked us into the Salthouse restaurant in Portaferry for dinner. The breakfast was amazing. I would definitely recommend the Fiddlers Green to stay in.

What a super place to stay. Our first time in Portaferry and certainly won’t be our last. Beds so comfy, nice and bright and exceptionally clean, great shower. Complimentary bottles of water in the room as well as tea, coffee and biscuits.
Breakfast was first class. Tracy the owner couldn’t have done enough for us, very friendly, welcoming and kind to us. Can’t wait for the bar to open as we will definitely be back

We were told they were permanently closed. So sad, because they have one of the Game of Throne doors. We were trying to get all of the stamps. You have to take a ferry to get across to this pub. If you find the Cuan restaurant, the ferry is right behind the restaurant.

Warm, welcoming and a great place to stay if you visit Portaferry. The breakfast was excellent and the stay was really good value for two nights. Rooms are spotless clean and comfortable. The music in the evening was superb and the staff are very friendly and attentive - the Guinness isn't too bad either. Definitely stay again!

Had the best stay in Fiddlers Green! Couldn’t find a fault if you tried. Would give it a 10/10. The rooms were spotless. Staff were amazing and very welcoming. Food was unreal. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Portaferry. The owner is also one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. Would highly recommend. 😃😃
