Hi Jim, Sorry we didn’t meet your expectations. Unfortunately the hotel had closed down since your last visit. We reopened it 3 years ago, so the white tablecloths are now long gone. Coleslaw doesn’t feature onour current menu, and generally we haven’t seen much demand for it. We certainly appreciate your comments Thanks Cahal

Loved this hotel with its classical elegance. We had a room to the front with views of the ferry (ploughing to and from Strangford), the lough and the wooded estate of Castle Ward. The food was very good (massive portions) and the service friendly and efficient. Would recommend.

Stayed in a lough view room with my fiance. Never been before and loved it. Quaint hotel. Roaring fire, friendly staff and great food. Bed comfy and room was spotless so compliments to the cleaner. Would recommend.

As far as I know they do not have secure parking but the village is not difficult to park in and would be known as a safe area to leave a car
