Stayed here back in May, the room was very nice, breakfast was lovely and the owners were very friendly. It is a bit of a walk into the village but the weather was good when we there so it wasn't a problem walking back. The only thing I have to say is not about the hotel but the village itself.... We were in Lochinver without accommodation as part of the NC500 road trip. The Rose was just about the only place we could find that had a double room. The price was reasonable but still felt a bit expensive given that it came with a shared bathroom and no breakfast (£7 extra pp). Host was welcoming and friendly, and the... More

Beautiful location with great views. The accommodation is basic but clean, breakfast was cooked and served promptly, this is a great place for travellers on a budget. Bathrooms are shared and you can hear other guests in their rooms, but this was good value for money.

We stayed here for one night. The host was friendly and welcoming. The room although basic was fine for a stopover, double bed and bunk beds. Shared toilet and shower rooms across the hall. The view from our room was stunning however was on the ground floor with other guests walking by and staring in as they passed. Breakfast was... More

View is really lovely however with the rooms you get what you pay for. The walls are paper thin so we could hear everything going on in the other rooms. Unfortunately we couldn't stay for breakfast as we had to leave very early the next day which is a shame.

Stayed one night on our north coast tour. Ed was very welcoming and accommodating, fitting the five of us in two double rooms with a fold out bed for the youngest. Clean bedrooms with tea/coffee, towels, soap and shampoo sachets, and two shared shower rooms between four rooms. Use of the dining room area until 10pm and a delicious cooked... More

The owner Ed is very helpful and runs a very good B&B, the rooms are large and modern with shared bathroom facilities. Large selection at breakfast which is cooked to order, no complaints from me, enjoyed my stay.

We came to Lochinver without a reservation, so were a bit concerned about finding a place to stay. The tourist office called, but got no answer, so suggested we drive to the B&B and knock on the door. We are glad we did. The room was small but very clean and cozy. The only downside was that it did not... More

We stayed two nights here when touring Scotland by bicycle. Our bikes were looked after very well and we were made to feel welcome. The rooms are comfortable and clean and there is a lovely sunny breakfast room that has fantastic views over the bay and Suilven beyond. The breakfast was good and plentiful and there was a nice relaxed... More
