Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stopped here as part of our NC500 tour. Nice site with modern and clean toilets and showers and our pitch was spacious and reasonably level. Dogs not allowed in hostel so did not make use of facilities but that didn't bother us. Good stopover location but probably wouldn't stay more more than one night as not much to do in local area and the road to Tongue is not one I would want to walk along.

Good site with clean amenities and great views . If you require a meal it is a long walk in a busy road to the nearest pub so you need to drive. That said the Varech at the Tongue Hotel served us an excellent meal . It was a wet and windy night but the views were everything the NC500 is about .

Excellent facilities. Clean and plenty of room in the toilet and shower block. There was a little shonas well at the reception. Added bonus of great views across to Ben Hope and out across Kyle of Tongue. Went up to Norse Bakehouse for tea and had a lovely meal.

Lovely views and facilities, clean toilets and showers as well as dish washing area. Friendly staff and a useful shop. The breeze kept away the midges and we saw a nice sunset across the water. Despite being close to the road pitches were private enough.

We found this place while traveling on the NC500 it’s has a lovely view and there is a great little coffee shop and shop in side. We were 3 couples and had tea which they catered for different types and some of our party had latte’s , we all so had cake. They also had a campsite but we didn’t stay on it so couldn’t comment but it looked great.
