We stayed 2 night this weekend. We had no issue with check in and out. At the office girl was really nice and helpful. We brought woods but i feel woods are not good here. I camp last month at Pog lake and wood there was perfect. Other Than everything was really awesome here. I wanted to stay middle of... More

This is by far the best campground within Algonquin Park with it's proximity to the water and beachfront. Campsites are large and private, NO highway noise. Access to interior campsites and hours of paddling without having to portage. No cell phone service within this campground but there are payphones at the front gate.

We stayed for three nights in Canisbay Lake campground. Our site was very clean and near the washrooms which were absolutely spotless everytime I used them. The privacy was perfect - plenty of room between sites. The first night was pouring rain but there was no problem with drainage and luckily our tent didn't let us down! This was our... More

My boyfriend and I love camping and were lucky enough to find this spot. Just being in the outdoors is so reminiscent of my childhood as my parents used to take me and my sisters camping all the time. Just laying and staring at the stars at night is so magical. Our site wasn't far from the washrooms which had... More

A group of 8 of us had campsites 6 & 7 during the Labor Day weekend. Both sites were large enough for our group, close to the flush toilets and a 5 minute walk to the comfort station. You can call ahead to the Portage store and book canoes or kayaks and they'll deliver them to the beach. Be sure... More

This is an amazing campground. I would recommend this park to anyone. I really cannot put into words how much my family loves this park. We hike, we canoe and we enjoy the store at Lake of Two Rivers. The Staff are very nice. We have seen many animals during our time at Algonquin Park, moose, bear, dear, turkeys, turtles... More

We had an awesome time at this campground. My boyfriend and I are fairly new to the camping scene but we really enjoyed it! We were on campsite 4 - it was a close enough distance to the flus toilets and super close to the water faucet. It was a good location - the only thing that was negative was... More

I first came to Canisbay in 1993 and stayed at site 59 and fell in love with it. In 2013 I returned to this site with my two teens. We have been coming back to it for 4 consecutive years now and have stayed there 6 times. I love this site for its seclusion even though it is not far... More

Camping at its best! The site we had was very large for our trailer. There was plenty of bush between sites. Washroom facility were great. Lake and whole area for that matter are nature's finest. Family loved the beach, trails and kayaking. Your pass gets you into all the parks. It gives you a chance to pick out a different... More
