A wonderful place we have come back to many times, Arowhon Pines is a great place to stay in Algonquin Park. We often take international visitors here to be able to explore the park and relax in style. Great selection of canoes and other boats to take out, easy access to Canoe Lake and the Portage Store (delicious ice cream),... More

A beautiful drive through early fall colours, winding roads and lack of cell service (Hooray!) brought us closer and closer to Algonquin paradise and luxury. We had heard about this resort over the years and good luck at the last minute got us a room for two nights at the end of Sept. 2016. It was everything we had been... More

We came upon an Arowhon Pines review by accident when looking at another place on-line and the author of the review of that place suggested Arowhon Pines was much better and to go there instead. We are so glad we did! My husband and I only spent one night here but the peace and tranquility at Arowhon Pines, not to... More

We stayed at Arowhon Pines for three nights as part of a 2 week fly drive holiday from the UK. I'm not sure I can add much to what others have said, but here goes. The hotel is situated up a 5 mile track off the main highway through the park. When you're at the resort it really does feel... More

Arowhon Pines is a well known resort located within Algonquin Provincial Park that provides guests with a quiet, peaceful stay where everything is taken care of for you. While there are plenty of spaces to enjoy a warm fire or a lake view, there's also plenty to do both sun (trails, canoeing, hobie cats, kayaking, swimming, campfires, tennis) and rain... More

We came to Arowhon Pines for a wedding and were blown away by every aspect of our stay. The food was not only healthy and delicious but also carefully prepared and served. The rooms and lodging were clean, a good size, comfortable and well looked after by the staff. The grounds were well kept, scenic and the lake was quiet,... More

Just return from a 2 night stay at Arowhon Pines and am already wishing I had never left. We desperately need a place to decompress as part of our journey to Canada involved a funeral and a heavy sadness. This place is a world apart from all the hustle and stresses of everyday life. My husband did have a small... More

It is difficult to do justice to arowhon. Reviews have made it clear but you literally leave the world behind when you enter here. The dusty, twisting road that leads you in to a dusty car park doesn't prepare you for what is to come. There are a few almost abandoned looking kayaks and a games room with shuffle board... More

Had a great stay at Arowhon Pines last week. It was our first time here and we found it to be a very quiet, peaceful resort. The food was fabulous! The service from the staff was wonderful. The rooms, while basic, were very comfortable. Our favourite meal was the night they served venison and lobster. Would come back in a... More

Great place for peace and quiet. I'd rate it 5 stars, except for the pricing in peak season. Very good food, only place on the lake, no speed boats on the lake so retains the Algonquin peacefulness. Great service. You will be billed a service charge ... No tipping and none seemed expected, Clean, rustic Muskoka. Not luxurious (except for... More
