This is a charming old hotel we stayed at before going on El Chepe. The front desk staff and bartender spoke good English. The gal at the front desk arranged a taxi driver for us to tour around the city and to Topolobampo. He waited for us while we walked around the park, walked

Stayed at the Hotel Santa Anita May 26 and May 31...before AND after our Copper Canyon Train excursion. Room was adequate and clean. Room service for breakfast was prompt with great coffee. The Chateaubriand for two the first night was out of this world tender and tasty!

"Choose high floor room, never first floor, unless you want to not sleep and hear cars, people speaking louder, smell the cigars"
"Try to get a room facing the parking lot and not Leyva street, which is noisy until 3:00 a.m."
"As the hotel is on a busy street, staying at a higher level is advisable."
"Try to be in a middle floor optimising between the noise at ground functions level and that near the top!"
"Was on both first and second floors and probably liked the second floor room a little better. Business center is on first floor."
