The casino which is part of the hotel ruins the ambience of the hotel. Lots of smoking so if you are a non smoker this is not attractive. They do offer a breakfast but very slow breakfast service. But good location and good sized rooms.

This was a casino environment hotel with a lot of smokers. If you are a non smoker, do not go here. You also need to walk through the casino area to get to your room. The rooms were good, good bed. But the smell of smoke ruined it. Breakfast took a very long time to arrive .

The hotel included an average breakfast. The hotel has a casino, I don't like casinos, so it was not for us. The hotel is at The Plaza de Armas", so the location is good. Hotels are inexpensive in Cajamarca, so it is everything else. You can take a half day tour for less $10, and they have a lot to...

Instead of a three star hotel it is simply a hostel. The breakfast is very small and with no variety at all. It think for the price I paid it should be better. By other hand, on the first floor there is a very noisy casino. If you want to rest at night you better not stay here

Highly recommend this hotel! Cute inner courtyard and very quiet despite it being in the Plaza de Armas. Tall ceilings, clean, fluffy towels, attentive, friendly and knowledgeable staff!! Will stay here again on our next trip here for sure. Great value and their breakfasts are good too.

If you would like to be in the Central Park (Plaza de Armas), use this hotel. The rate is really good and it os worth it. I stayed in Costa Sol before but the rate is not worth it. The rooms are quite big and the breakfast is just fine. Also try Taita bar which is owned by the hotel...

I agree with some of the reviewers of this hotel: (1) It is located on the main square; (2) rooms overlook a cute early 20th century country courtyard. The rooms are spartan and the bathrooms are basic. There is hot water but there it no water pressure at the sink. (3) Rooms and courtyard are kept clean. (4) Service employees...

The hotel staff showed us several rooms and we finally settled on Number 9. The room was newly redecorated, the bathroom was updated and the mattress was excellent. It had a good sized flat screen TV with access to CNN. The room was located in back of the casino around a garden. It was very quiet and restful. The hotel...

We stayed three days in this hotel. Really nice hotel and it is great that is located right on the main square. Our room was very comfortable, nice bathroom and clean. The staff was very professional and Belen at front desk was very helpful to us. Overall we loved our stay in this hotel. Fully recommend to all.
