An out of town venue popular with the wealthier residents of Cajamarca. This was a historic old house, very extensive, around a pleasant courtyard, with enormous and beautiful grounds and a stream rushing by. Tremendously peaceful after the noise and bustle of the city. Calm and well run.

I grew up in Southern California and have visited many early Spanish homes of that period that are now museum. I never thought I would get to stay at a similar place. You can step back in time and still enjoy modern coven eps at this place. My room is huge with a vaulted ceiling and a mix of antique... More

Difficult to find in dark! Off hand greeting on arrival. Grounds great to walk round with interesting plants and water features. Actual room felt like boarding school dorm with beds lined up against wall. Some very interesting antique furniture. Pity about the breakfast of cold white bread rolls and jam! No offer of fruit and cereals. Overall the inconvenience of... More

We stayed for 3 nights and traveled with 2 small kids. The hotel was very accommodating and added an extra bed to the (huge!) room. (They put a mattress on the floor without a frame.) The setting and kid play area are both very nice, you see this in the pictures. They have horses which are tied to trees in... More

I wish we had stayed longer at this hotel instead of the Costa del Sol in downtown Cajamarca. The hotel is set on an old hacienda and the best two things about this hotel are the rooms, which are huge and very authentic, and the food which was excellent. They even got pasta right which is a feat outside of... More

We were so sad to stayed only one night at this wonderfully appointed hotel set in the main square of a small city demanding a longer exploration. Our room was vast, the bed enormous and rounded off with great views of the mountains.

I wanted to like this place it is a beautiful setting and the rooms, beds and bedding were wonderful but our experience was marred by the staff and their complete lack of attention and general absence when we had questions or wanted help. The food was marginal, I returned under cooked barely warm scrambled eggs at breakfast, the internet only... More

I loved this place. I had a great room with a sitting area and a fireplace downstairs and the bedroom and bathroom upstairs. Fresh cut flowers in the bathroom and sitting room. Nice linens for the bed and bath and a comfortable bed. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. Food was quite good, too. Airport service was an... More

We spent a few nights here with our three young boys. The place is secluded and quiet. We drove from Piura and had little issue finding the place. Beautiful grounds and great food. We hope to stay here again.
