Wanted to stay at Cemoro Lawang however wasn't able to get 2 consecutive nights due to availability therefore split my stay at Yoschi and Lava View Lodge. Booked myself an economy room with shared bathroom which was located outside with hot shower. The room is basic however works well as everyone is on the sunrise tour so you only sleep... More

Various levels of rooms, the basic ones without bathroom, a little bit crampy but passable for one night. Pleasant restaurant structure with view on the small garden. Easy to organize jeeps directly with the hotel to go up to the viewpoint.

This is not a place for luxury surely rather 100% value for money while we were on adventurous tour to Mount Bromo. Reached at the hotel at ~10 PM. It was a heavy rainy evening. Very scary road to the hotel from Probolingo. We didn't take any proper during the day time since we were traveling. So we enjoyed the... More

Other than the friendly staff and reasonable location to mount bromo I can't think of anything nice to say. The rooms are basic, beds are uncomfortable and the bathroom was dirty. I couldn't work out if it was the sink and/or the toilet that was leaking. Service for the evening meal was slow and the food, although cheap wasn't the... More

The room in general is decent. But the set-up of the room itself seems kinda eerie. And the water heater is very hard to get the temperature right. And during the morning, not too sure what had happened. our room water supply have gone. Cannot brush teeth. Gonna use the bottled water to brush teeth.

Unusual complex of buildings with large but basic rooms. No en-suite but a couple of shower rooms available. Cosy restaurant with an Alpine feel. Most people would be up before dawn to visit the volcano at dawn so you won't spend long in room! When we were there whole place was covered in 1cm of ash as Bromo was spitting... More

Hotel is well located, as a starting point for Mount Bromo explorations. This hostel is a lovely place to stay, with amazing atmosphere and decor. The rooms were bamboo style and I found the place to be very homely. It’s hard to understand those whimsy comments below – I think minor things that were wrong with the place only add... More

This hostel is a lovely place to stay, with amazing atmosphere and decor. The rooms were bamboo style and I found the place to be very homely. The food is expensive though i'd recommend the egg and tomato jaffles! I really loved this place and initially was planning on returning again. The problem arose when it came to bed to bed... More

Hotel is well located, as a starting point for Mount Bromo explorations. The hotel is rather simple and not well equipped, but what to expect in touristic village in the mountains..? Cool adventrue, but for one night, when you have to get up early to be ready for sunrise. Rooms not too small, simple beds, very simple bathroom - rather... More

Cosy restaurant, mountain style bamboo cabins, good food, could be the number 1 place.....but absolutely below standard toilets and crappy bathroom. Glad we didn't get sick ! Tip to management : invest a few bucks in cleaning material and get your staff to it 3 times a day...back on track is very easy
