Rather strange route to get here. You pass through a rundown part of town, cross over railroad tracks, and dive down a hill. It's not apparent that you are heading in the right direction but eventually you see the entrance to the park. We waited a few minutes for someone to come over to the office as they were running...

Tom Sawyer's is tucked away on the east side of the levee, right on the Mississippi River. Because of this, they are flooded often and have to close for periods of time. Be sure you call ahead! It's very peaceful and relaxing to sit at your RV site and watch the barges push freight up and down the river. Then,...

We stopped in on our way to Florida. Didn't know what to expect on the drive out of town to the RV park. When we drove around the bend and saw he park we were amazed! It was spectacular ! We climbed the tree house and sat and watched the boats go up and down the river.

This park is right on the banks of the MIssissippi River and offers a great view of the river and the activity on the river; barges being pushed along by tugboats. In fact, there are benches all along the river bank for your viewing pleasure. The park itself has three rv circles. Two of those are right on the river...

We love this park. The view of the Mississippi is spectacular. I could watch those barges chug up and down that river all day, and we do just that and then gather drift wood at the river and have a bon fire at night. It's in west memphis and you are in downtown Memphis in minutes. The park also has...

We have stayed at this rv park a number of times. It s right on the Mississipppi River banks. The owners-operators-employees are all friendly n very helpful. Sites are level, had full hookups n reasonably priced. There was daily trash pickup right at each site. With a river walk along with benches you can go sit n watch the barges n...

Great campsite right on the Mississippi River. Large, level sites for RV's and smaller campers. Located in west Memphis which is actually just across the border of Arkansas. Hreat barbecue in Memphis is a reason to come here. Close to many food places. Free laundry. Fishing the Mississippi is a must. Lots of Riverboats/barges running day and night. Soothing to...

The park itself is very basic, with few real amenities but oh, that view of the Mississippi. Barges were coming by about every 20 minutes, day and night. The wifi was also really great; almost like home. We stayed 2 nights. Great spot for a short stopover.

We camped in our pop-up at Tom Sawyer's RV park in July 2016. Our site was nice. The park is right on the Mississippi river and you can walk down and sit benches and watch for boats, barges, etc. We didn't really see any boats, but we were only there one night. The bathroom was especially nice because it was...
