We decided to have Mothers Day brunch at the Knickerbocker. We were a party of 6. 4 adults, 1 teen and 1 child. Hands down - this is one of the most wonderful meals in Big Bear Lake that we have had for sure - and on top of the list for us in terms of ambience, flavor and hospitality...

Lovely place up in the mountain resort of Big Bear Mountain. A series of separate units made up of 3/4 dwellings with a central mansion. Our room was the Evergreen which was cosy with very effective heating. The shower was great, and there was loads of hot water for a bath after a day's skiing. The breakfast is top notch...

No kids allowed! That kinda bummed me out but otherwise it was awesome. There is Not a lot of hotels in this area that i would consider luxury but this place is close. If u rent a cabin in big bear thru somewhere else there is no room service or housekeeping... idk, to me that matters. So that's why I...

We took a quick overnight trip to Big Bear to show the kids some snow but unfortunately we awoke to pouring rain. We decided to go for a leisurely brunch and found this gem of a place. Oh my goodness, this place is fabulous!! The setting and decor is cozy and beautiful and the hospitality was perfection. Sitting in the...

The Knickerbacker Mansion has an exceptional Sunday brunch. All of their meals are of excellent quality with a variety of menu items. A lot of history at this site. The current owners have raised the bar and we have been here for numerous meals and special events. Loved the Celtic band "Wake the Bard".

I stayed at the Knickerbocker Mansion in mid February, 2016. Although it was not snowing there was plenty of snow on the ground. And this made for a lovely, picturesque setting upon arrival. I asked for and received a quiet room. I stayed not in the Mansion but in one of the Forest Rooms in the Carriage House, namely the...

Came here to evade the city life for a bit. ABSOLUTELY LOVED THE KNICKERBOCKER. If you love B&B's you will love this one. Had so much fun with the wood stove. Great breakfast too. I plan on taking a trip down memory lane and staying here again. Very meaningful trip for my husband and I.

It is a cozy B&B managed by a lovely couple that welcomes you to the hotel. The main cabin used to be a house and it feels like it. There are pictures and family portraits. Also their Bistro that offers awesome food. The rooms are clean and comfortable.

We were there for two nights and it was excellent, not a luxury hotel if you are looking for one, but the lodge is great, the staff is so kind and the restaurant is excellent, the owners are always there looking for everything to be perfect, yo feel like in the old cold western USA, you should try it, it...

we stayed in the juniper room (which, according to the owners is one of the small rooms they have) on 01/03/16 for 1 night. -First the room is so small that there is no room for a chair or even a desk for that matter. barely enough room to go around the bed. The pictures on the web site do...
