Very simple room, clean, car easely parked close to the room. It is possible to walk in the town from the hotel to find place for dinner. Many activities to do around : rock art, climbing, skying at Mammoth lakes, trecking and fishing. The Keough's Hot Springs near the town are also very pleasant. Very hot and very vintage. Go...

This motel is very basic. It is reasonably priced and the bed was comfortable. However, it did smell a bit old. Our room only had a shower, no bathtub. The continental breakfast had very limited choices all of which were unhealthy.

Very outdated room & it didn't feel clean. Duct tape on floor for transition between carpet & tile. Online it looks much better than in real life. Free breakfast was very basic; coffee was terrible. Free wi-fi was nice. Location is convenient.

I chose Elms Motel because it looked like it might be quieter and more personal than the multi-room building style hotels in the area. The manager doesn't smile or greet you in any way. It seems that each guest is more of a bother than a welcome guest, which made me feel uncomfortable. Amenities are just enough to sleep. No...

Small clean room abutting town park. Quiet street but centrally located to walk to shops and restaurants. Comfortable bed. Very friendly, family run hotel. (wonderful smell of Indian food when checking in from their home!) We stayed one night after hiking the John Muir trail and it accommodated repacking to fly home and a hot shower.

This is a 1950s style motel. It is single level with several rooms in each building. Parking is in designated spaces adjoining rooms. The staff is pleasant. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Amenities are limited, but include a fish cleaning station. The rooms have no refrigerator. Cable TV and free Wi-Fi are provided. The prices are competitive with other...

Motel interior is old and worn. Therefore a little dusty. But after long drive heading to Yosemite, all we needed was a good night sleep. Price is reasonable, with breakfast in morning. In general room is basic, but good enough. Friendly place.

Arrived tired after long drive from Vegas on way to Yosemite. Other motels were either full or quite expensive.. $150.. By chance we found here. From the instant of meeting the friendly manager we knew it was a great call. Spotlessly clean rooms and a nice basic breakfast were a godsend. The rooms are retro/dated, but super! Really friendly people!...

Friendly staffs and nice clean room. We were there two nights for day hikes around Eastern Sierra area. Breakfast is OK, can be improved. Good value, definitely will come back if we're in Bishop area.
