During the big Rim Fire in Yosemite National Park this month, we were evacuated from Hetch Hetchy with food for 4 people for 3 days and no place to stay. We decided to drive over Tioga Pass and down to Bishop, to position ourselves for a visit to the Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest and other Eastern Sierra destinations. We wanted...

I've stayed in quite a few of Bishop's mid-price hotels and I liked the Ramada the most. Clean and quiet, with good-sized rooms. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Every employee I met was helpful. I didn't try the breakfast, but it didn't look like I was missing much. Next summer, I'll be back.

The motel is a bit outdated, we stayed in a two bedroom hotel with one king and two single beds in a small separate attached room. Although it is rated...

The room was big, as was the bed. Good free breakfast as well. Close to a lot of places to eat in Bishop. Would...

This hotel is fine - clean rooms, quiet etc. We had a king room which was a really good size and immaculately clean. It was just a shame about the woman on the front desk who was quite rude. It appeared as though checking us in was a major chore - no welcome or even basic manners. We asked a...

This is a great place to stay when you are in Bishop. The rooms are clean and the staff is very helpful. I'd like to give a special shout out to Amber behind the front desk she bent over backwards to clear up a rewards points issue. If I was in charge she would get a promotion her attitude towards...

The room was smaller then any other ramada inn we had stayed in but it was clean and neat, breakfeast was a little disappointing, at all the ramades we had stayed in had a waffle maker and hard boiled eggs.
