We made the mistake of looking @ the reviews for the campsites, not for the "hotel" rooms. This review is for the room. The campsites may be nice, but this hotel room is WAY overpriced. The rentable rooms are in one side of the owner's house. I can tell they have tried to update them and I appreciate the effort... More

Incredible views of wetlands and ocean. The new staff are wonderfully accommodating and I love the tipi experience. I love the trails. You can ride horses there and they also rescue horses. The place is clean and they have showers

My husband and I went to Chanslor Ranch for the horsebackriding and it did not disappoint. Our guide was Ali and she was fun and friendly and guided us on a safe and beautiful ride over the dunes to the beach. We rode Frank and Tonka, two draft horses who were sweet and gentle giants. My husband had not ridden... More

We stayed in their campground, so can't comment on any of the rooms, but they do have 2 houses with lodging and great ocean views. This is my 2nd time to camp there. They now have 8 or 9 RV electric/water hookups, and sites have great views. They also have tent camping sites and platform tent sites, too. Over 70... More

To me this is a horse riding operation with places to sleep. If u aren't camping or there for the horses, don't go. We stayed in a room that was like your elderly aunt's house that was built in the 50's but she wasn't there. We called to reserve but no answer. So booked on line for $200. We get... More

We stayed at the Ranch View Suit and we loved it. it's spacious, clean and very quiet. We had a queen size bed and full bath in our suit. No breakfast. I walked to the stable the next morning for my horseback ride, very convnient!

Passed by this spot so many times and finally stayed. Not by choice, all other camp grounds were full over the busy weekend. When we arrived, the host Donny and his wife were awesome. They were all booked up but managed to squeeze our family and trailer in. Went and found us a fire ring and were just really nice... More

I saw this ranch on Trip Advisor and decided to book a trip. I love horses and been riding for over 40 years. The price was right, the customer service friendly and the property is right on Route 1 on 378 acres of foothills overlooking the ocean. My room was in the house overlooking the ranch hence the Ranch View... More

We took our RV trailer to Chanselor Ranch. It was "dry" camping, but it was well worth it. I think the ranch is developing the RV experience, so your RV will be on a knoll overlooking the ranch & ocean. And, for now, there is limited spaces (call and reserve). In the morning you will see their 60 horses run... More

Scenic vistas, an abundance of wildlife, and a friendly big bottomed cowgirl, ready to take you on the best trail ride if your life! The views, from every angle and from all over the ranch are absolutely breathtaking! The staff is friendly. ( did I mention the big bottomed cowgirl?) And, there is so much to offer! We are planning... More
