My husband and I had an incredible 3 night stay here in September. Peter and Phillip are excellent hosts - just the right mix of friendly and informative without being intrusive. We stayed in the carriage house which is quiet and beautiful. The breakfasts were amazing and we loved the happy hour wine and cheese. The setting is serene, yet...

Exceeded expectations! It's unfair to call this bed and breakfast. It is much more than that! It's like being at home. Few rooms. The owners have coffee and tea ready for you starting from 7 just before breakfast. Breakfast is freshly prepared and absolutely delicious. Creative recipes, fresh food, presentation would deserve a one star Michelin, at least. Peter and...

We had a wonderful stay here. The breakfasts were incredible, the owners were so hospitable and incredibly gracious and nice. There was always a big fire burning in the fireplace, wine and cheese in the late afternoon and magnificent views from our window overlooking the vineyards. Peter and Felipe, the owners, had wonderful suggestions and we just felt really comfortable...

We just returned from our fifth stay at Chateau de Vie. We would never consider staying any other place in the beautiful Napa Valley. This charming B&B is run by Phillip, a master chef whose scones are to die for and Peter who is a vintner and delightful conversationalist. Honestly, we feel like we are visiting distant relatives when we...

Places like this, and people like Peter and Phillip, completely justify the importance of research and reading reviews prior to traveling. If you've made it to this review, and you are even slightly thinking about staying at a bed and breakfast in the Napa Valley area, then you can stop your search for where to stay. We had very high...

We visited Chateau de Vie and it could not have been better. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfasts and the views from the house over the vineyards and mountains. This B and B receives excellent ratings and it well deserved as the owners take pride in every aspect of your stay. The place is spotless and very clean and well ran...

Last year at this same time, we spent three nights in Napa and three nights at Chateau de Vie. This year, we spent all six nights at Chateau de Vie because we had such a great stay. Peter and Philip are great hosts, and we feel they take a sincere interest in each guest's experience. Plus, they are great guys...

We recently stayed for the weekend in the cottage, which is separate from the main house. It is right in the vineyard and the vines are in every direction looking out the windows. All of the reviews we read on TripAdvisor were accurate. Felipe and Peter were wonderful hosts. Beautiful views. We especially enjoyed coming back to the cottage after...

We booked the entire Chateau (5 rooms) for a family reunion. You could not ask for a more beautiful setting. It overlooks a vineyard. The house wine is served during cocktail hour with wine and cheese. The breakfasts are over the top! Gourmet level.
