We went to the Chateau for a one night stay looking for relaxation and a B&B a bit off the beaten track. We were NOT disappointed, and I wish we could have stayed a week. The Chateau was beautiful. It was outside of the more touristy Napa downtown area, very quiet and peaceful. The Chateau was also on their own...

We have had the fortune to stay at Chateau de Vie on a number of occasions over the years since Peter and Phillip first set the bar for hospitality in the Napa Valley. Each time reminds us of why we return; there is no other B&B that provides such a welcoming and relaxing visit. The service is the perfect balance...

My wife has a fantasy that the owners of this B&B will ask us to move in permanently. While we are very charming, it has not happened yet. Regardless, we will always go to great lengths to ensure we get to stay here every Spring. As always, Peter and Philip are incredibly giving hosts. The breakfasts are out of this...

There are so many wonderful things to say about CdV, but let's begin with the hosts Felipe and Peter. They are extraordinary innkeepers, friendly, funny, professional, helpful and extremely considerate. They place their focus on the guests and pamper you from beginning to end. The gourmet breakfast is sumptuous and not to be duplicated anywhere in Napa Valley. The scenery...

Have been lucky to visit many Napa Valley Lodgings from B&B to Resorts AND I now live in the valley so can be very picky about leaving home. My husband and I needed a get away and wanted to stay near by to take advantage of what the Wine Country has to offer. Chateau de Vie has quickly become a...

We stayed in the Chateau de Vie’s Carriage House for three nights over Presidents’ Day weekend and had an absolutely wonderful time. The excellently furnished and cozy carriage house nestles right up against the vines and we loved waking up to the view of the vineyards and the fog-shrouded Mount St. Helena beyond. Peter and Philip are the most gracious...

The service, views, attention to detail, and overall experience at Chateau de Vie was wonderful! We were greeted by Phillip when we arrived and found out that we had been upgraded to the Carriage House! The room/cottage was gorgeous and our front porch stepped right out into the vineyard. Phillip set us up with reservations at a spa in town...

I realise all of the reviews are excellent, but we still felt the need to add our own applause!! Our room was outstandingly beautiful with double-aspect views of the vines! The interior decor was exquisite, combining contemporary style with rustic French comfort. This B&B is slightly out-of-town, a feature which we really appreciated. We could sit on the back terrace...

My husband recently stayed at Chateau de Vie for our 25th wedding anniversary. I rarely write reviews of hotels, but I had to make an exception for CDV. Our hosts, Peter and Felipe are some of the most relaxed and attentive gentlemen I have ever met. Breakfasts are superb, recommendations of wineries and restaurants were outstanding, and the carriage house...

I rarely like to go to the same place twice - not because I didn't enjoy my stay, but because I feel there is a whole wide world out there to explore, so if I have time and money, I'd rather spend it on someplace new. HOWEVER, the Chateau De Vie in Calistoga is and tranquil exception! I would go...
