Our arrival wasn't very welcoming....it was ok. There were a few staff attending to us and some were great, others not so. The rooms were incredibly bare but clean and aesthetically pleasing. Mine was fine but my friend's smelt musty and had condensation on the bathroom windows. She said she found it difficult to sleep and the smell woke her...

I have stayed here many times and decided to come up to do some writing without distraction. I requested an ocean view room. The rooms at the Fogcatcher are always beautifully maintained. The ocean rooms do allow a view of Moonstone Beach, which is located directly across a small road. You can hear the waves all night. It has a...

This is a sweet, clean, small inn with a pleasant staff. The rooms are large. Ours had a gas fireplace. Yummy cookies are available in the afternoon. The breakfast was delicious, especially the salsa, waffles, and eggs. The location on the coast is ideal.

The Inn is directly across from the ocean and the mile long boardwalk in Cambria. The walk is not to be missed. The rooms are nicely done, up-to-date. Two notes.... 1. Try to reserve an oceanfront room and ask for the second nod floor . The view is much better from there. 2. The rooms are heated by charming gas...

Make this stop to a locally owned coffee and espresso shop because it is so uniquely Pacifica. Buy your Java and fresh baked bagel or pastry. Eat outside at a cafe table and watch the surfers unpack their cars. Better yet, pack your morning treat " to go". Walk out front door and make a left toward the Pacific. Cross...

Great view of the ocean during the day. Even without the ocean view room you could still "hear" the waves crashing from your room. The room was great but not too crazy about the fire place. We stayed on a very cold night. To have a fire burning all night you think it would put off more heat. Still a...

Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel during the off season. The room smelled wonderful and was very clean. The fireplace was a wonderful touch to enjoy. The location of the hotel is right across the street from Moonstone Beach. It was nice being able to wake up in the early morning and take a quiet walk on the beach....

We Loved our stay at this hotel. We stayed in an ocean view room that had a pullout couch for our kids. Loved that the bedroom was separated from living room. Being able to close a door for privacy from the kids usually ends up costing quite a bit more but not at this wonderful hotel. It's directly across the...

The rooms was beautiful! It was big and the bed was huge. The bed was comfortable but the sheets are a little bit rough. It was exceptionally noticeable since it was a cold time but otherwise, we slept very well on that bed. The fireplace was magnificent! It really kept us warm during the winter nights. We stayed there for...

The Fogcatcher is absolutely lovely, we have really enjoyed our 3 night stay here. On arrival we were given a map and information on the local town along with some cookies, which were delicious.
