The rooms are lovely, with solid wood furniture and the bed very comfortable. The grounds and pool area is beautifully landscaped and impeccable maintained. Every morning and evening we saw Toucans and Macaws in the trees. The staff treated us like VIPs.

While a car is necessary here, the location is great and very near to (rough road of) the Santa Maria sector and not far from the main Las Pailas entry. The rooms were fairly priced and very spacious. Staff were friendly and accommodated our late arrival without any problem. Would stay again!

Great and helpful staff, stunningly modern and nicely furnished rooms, everything set in a beautifuö landsape, the only disadvantage is, that this hotel is very isolated, so that you are forced to eat the delicious, but absolutely overpriced food, if you are not willing to spend half an hour by car to get somewhere else. Breakfast was really good, and... More

One exceptional thing about this place was the flexibility of the staff regarding meals, field trips, and accommodations. They also provided an exceptional guide (Walter) who made our forest explorations exciting and educational. A four-wheel drive can get you into the park instead of horseback.

No tv. No alarm clock. This is the place to be! Beautiful cabins with great mountain views. Secluded, yet they have WiFi. Horseback riding, hiking, swimming. The staff is wonderful and very accommodating. The three lodge cats are friendly, the little one probably too friendly! At night the area is so quite and on clear nights, the stars in the... More

I stayed there, after calling them a day in advance, for two nights. We arrived late (9pm) but they said there would be some body around and there was. The breakfast which was included was good. The rooms are very basic but ok. Even though the shower showed a red bar on the tap you could only choose between freezing... More

This is a nice lodge with beautiful views and a most unique wake up alarm system: monkeys and birds just before 5 AM. The staff was always helpful and accommodating, despite a few bumps with our large group for zip lining and horseback riding. Despite said bumps, all 11 kids had an excellent time and the 7 adults will recover!... More

Stayed there a couple of weeks ago for 2 nights. Do not go here if you are high maintenance. The place is great, but you should know what you are getting. Almost feels like you are camping with style. The place has a great vibe to it. No AC in our room, but not really needed. It is a nice... More

This is a very nice hotel which felt like little community among itself. Right off the bat they had good service, waiting for us at the airport to give us a ride to the hotel. At the hotel the rooms were alright; what you would expect but nothing too fancy. There was some walking trails on the hotel land we... More

rooms are big, restaurant is ok, location is a bit off, service is ok, nice swimming pool. A good place to stay to visit the Rincon de la vieja national park. Wifi is free, but not always good reception.
