It was a marvelous Escape from Sweltering Kolkata in June 2016. The hotel is located a bit uphill, but we did not face much of problem having our hired vehicle. Travelers need to keep such conveyance because we did not notice much public transport system, although we have seen some "Bus Stops". The market is very near and the airport... More

It's a new property located on Thimpu Expressway. The lady owning the hotel is very sweet and welcoming but service is not as expected. Food is below average with hardly any choice. Breakfast served is also below average. They need to pull up their standard.

a very good place to stay with family and friends...level difference between each room makes this hotel different from others. as it is located at prime location which makes very accessible to other places too.. also the airport is very close to it.

The hotel is located a little away from the Paro town area in Olathang. The rooms are spacious and clean and open out to a balcony with great views of the mountains in Paro. You can spend the mornings staring into at the mountain ranges sipping coffee. The room service is a little slow but good. You need to provide... More

We stayed with them for 2 nights. We stayed in a room overlooking the paro hills and paddy fields. In the right season(which was when we went) its a view worth every penny. Although the hotel staff didn't say no to whatever we had asked for, we did have to place orders for lunch and dinner way way early since... More

We have been there for two nights during Christmas. The hotel is very quiet and peaceful but far from town. It will take near an hour walk to reach the town for shopping. Lift is not available so try to avoid rooms on upper floors. Rooms are big and comfortable. Room heaters are available on extra price.

Nice, quaint hotel overlooking a flowering apple orchard. You might catch them red and ripe if you visit in the high season. Helpful staff and good room conditions add to the experience. They have a nice outhouse style restaurant with nice hand drawn local motives on the walls. Overall very good experience.

Hotel Silverpine offers rooms with fabulous view across the valley to the dzong: a special treat at night. The room was comfortable, the food delicious and the service friendly and helpful.
