This hotel is at good location but not well maintained at all. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Faced issue with water supply. Markets are far from hotel. There is no general shop near to hotel. Overall experience is poor.

This review has been pending for long. Tandin and his family are amazing hosts, super helpful and their property is very beautiful. They take the extra measure to make you feel comfortable. Overall an awesome stay. All Stars for them. Highly recommended if you are looking for making new friends and exploring the Bhutanese culture. Thank you Tandin for making...

The Bad : To start with - it is not a resort and that picture with green reception counter is definitely misleading. With cold rooms and even colder bathroom, my first impression of the hotel was quite disappointing. The walls were not sound proof and during the 3 nights I stayed there, I could easily hear the (rather loud) next-room...

Stayed there with family for 2-3 days. The best hotel in our Bhutan trip. Restaurant serves fresh food. The rooms are well decorated. We could not try their stone bath massage. The hotel is managed by Hotel 89 of Thimpu as told by Manager.

The hotel was just a km from the centre of Paro. However, once the sun has set, road to the heart of Paro isn't lit so can't walk the distance- need to hire a cab instead. Rooms were quite pretty with wall painting in traditional Bhutanese Buddhist art and wooden flooring. Food was great, and you must definitely try the...

It has never been so difficult to come up with a title of a review in my life. Reason? I felt like everything I wanted to say was already taken as title by other fellow reviewers who stayed in this lovely place. I reached at this property with the generous pick up from Paro International Airport with their own vehicle....

Like others have said before, I will repeat, you might find a better room but you won't find better hospitality anywhere. This is a boutique hotel which is total bang for buck and so much more. I would strongly recommend it to anyone who wants to experience true Bhutanese hospitality. Detailed review below. I travelled to Bhutan last week on...

This is a great find if you're looking for a simple, friendly and homely stay in Paro that lets you enjoy the famed peace of the land with access to modern amenities. We were originally looking for economy lodgings for a short stay in Paro, and this was one of the few budget hotels present on Facebook, and well, the...

After visiting Bhutan two years ago we knew we had to go back. The Samdencholing Eco Resort has been under renovation and is my first choice of places to stay. The view of the city and mountains in unmatched, the attentiveness of the staff, the excellent food and warm hospitality make this my choice every time we will return. As...

Property is located at a very nice place from where the paro dzong looks very nice. Each of the rooms are very nicely done up with local paintings, etc. Food was really very nice and tasty. Staff were very friendly enough to accommodate all our requests. Only negative point of the property, it is little away from the regular route...
