THE TROPICAL EXPERIENCE The Pineapple Hotel is an urban elegant boutique hotel in Krabi Town, where warm to hot, moist year-round and the sense of lush vegetation are waiting for your discovery. Situating in the tropical zone of the earth makes tropical elements our inspiration. From hotel design to our name, we have integrated the tropics into them. Pineapple is a regionally grown plant and a queen of the tropical fruit wearing a crown. The sunny yellow of this sweet fruit is, therefore, applied in our architecture. Besides, pineapple is also included in our hotel name and a room type.

The rooms are clean, spacious. The hotel is close to convenience stores, restaurants and coffee shops, The hotel in the center of Krabi town. The large swimming pool is suitable for the amount of room that is not busy. Enough for 3 days 2 night.

We stayed one night over here on Songkrang day, at our arrival the room aren't already because it was a big holiday in Thailand. Ratcha ( the friendly receptionist ) recommended us to have some lunch at Doo dum restaurant near by the hotel which amazing foods and 3 minutes away by walking. The room are clean and it's worth money also the hotel parking is huge.

We had very best experience there. Rooms are very clean, service is excellent and staff are very co-operative and humble. Swimming pool is also very clean and well maintained. Surrounding area is very peaceful and quiet. Surely recommeding to stay here.

Do NOT waste your money!
We booked this hotel as a family of 4, for 4 nights - we checked out after 1, and had i of been able to get another hotel on the same day as check in, we would have left right away.
On arrival, the hotel room was horrible!! It was dirty, with mould and bubbling and food marks all over the walls, mirrors not cleaned, hair on the floor, cubbards falling apart in the bathroom, a bathtub with no taps, towels with holes that looked like they were 10 years old, tthe shower had no pressure to it and was cold! Stains on the bedsheets! A family room and only 1 sofa to sit 2 people, a TV that was fuzzy and no english chanels. We went to reception and complained and they did send up housekeeping to clean, and the offered us to move rooms (to a smaller one) and then offered us a conjoining room to the family room as compensation. The cleaners came and dusted and mopped, it made no difference.
On booking it states they have a restaurant on site - in the in room information folder it says there is room service. They do not! They only offer breakfast! Amazing to not be able to get any food after travelling many hours with young children. You have to go to the 7 11 next door, or walk 15 minutes to the town to find any sort of food for lunch / dinner.
Breakfast was cold, only fried eggs offered and they were not even cooked. Buffet is only offered if they have enough guests, otherwise you get a set meal which again, looks aweful and processed.

We checked out as soon as we could the next mornimg and of course, no conpensation or refund offered. How this hotel has received a 4* rate is beyond me! At 80£ per night, there is nothing 4* about it. The level is what i would expect from a hostel.
Would not ever stay again and you shoulnt either.

The location was close to the town which we explored in the evening to find dinner, and that was cute and lovely. The town was the only positive!!!!

We arrived late in Krabi and needed a place to stay before catching a boat early in the morning. We'd arranged with the front desk to have a taxi at 8:15am (and paid for it), which would have allowed a buffer if they ran a bit late. The front desk assured us that it was arranged. We checked out of our room and were downstairs well before 8:15 (grabbed some breakfast), then 8:15 rolled around and no taxi. We asked the front desk and they replied "oh yeah they called and said they were running late" which was odd that it wasn't mentioned to us since we were sitting right there. 15 minutes go by, 20 minutes. At that point we were at significant risk of missing our boat. There was not a lot of sympathy or help from the manager on duty. The valet, however, ran and got the keys to the hotel vehicle and drove us himself - a superhero move. Though he wasn't really sure where he was going, I appreciate the effort. We made it to the dock slightly late but luckily the boat hadn't left yet. No thanks to the Pineapple Hotel...

We stayed at the Pineapple hotel for two nights between towns. We chose the hotel as it was located in town, had good reviews and the decor and pool looked clean and inviting.

We booked a basic room which had all the basic amenities, free water, wifi, safe. The only downsides of our room were the safe not being bolted down, the shower spraying over the toilet and bathroom area and the lights on the air conditioner being very bright during the night.

The hotel facilities were generally nice. The restaurant had lovely paintings on the wall and the pool was clean and inviting. We did not have time to check out the gym.

The staff were very helpful and friendly and have us a complimentary taxi ride to our hotel as during our stay some other hotel guests were loud all through the night.

The breakfast was average, but enough to get you started.

Although we had a couple of hiccups, the staff were lovely and very kind.

A disappointing stay. While the staff were very friendly and helpful, there were many things that were unpleasant and left a negative experience.
Firstly, the room had 2 singles pushed together when we booked a double bed. We asked to change rooms and they happily arranged that for us but should have been offered a room with the double bed when we checked in.
Secondly, the pool was unavailable for the 2 days we were staying there which was disappointing because we weren’t anywhere near a beach and it was hot. We ended up renting a scooter and riding 16km to the nearest beach.
The biggest issue was the noise. While the street noise is noticeable it wasn’t an issue. The main issue was out of all the days we could have stayed there we just happened to stay when the hotel was hosting a party for around 200 young adults and students. The party itself finished late around 11pm but at 1am the rooms and corridors of the hotel were still full of noisy, drunk people. We had been kept awake and had enough so we were forced into approaching guests and asking them to be quiet. The next morning after attempting to sleep in the noise returned with a bus in the car park pumping loud music from very early in the morning.
The breakfast was pretty average too and was not kept warm so we left to find somewhere better.
After expressing our disappointing stay to reception the next morning they kindly offered a free taxi service to our next hotel.
While I appreciate that kind of service I question the decision to host a party there. Not very considerate to their other guests and having the party guests stay in the hotel after wasn’t a good idea either.

Although there’s room for improvement, and prices are a bit steep for what it is, this is actually a nice place to stay in Krabi.

There’s a 7-eleven next door, and lots of restaurants nearby. There’s also a self service laundry nearby, so your basic needs are well covered during your stay.

If you need to cool off, the pool is great too.

They serve a pretty basic breakfast consisting of bread, a few Thai items, tea, coffee.

There’s a free shuttle to the nearby Vogue shopping mall every day, however the location is inconvenient if you want to get there by taxi.

This hotel is probably best for guests driving their own motorbike or car, otherwise it gets too difficult to get around Krabi.

It’s also worth noting that we requested a refund due to early departure, and they refunded the remaining stay -10% the same day we checked out (direct booking, PayPal) - that’s a GREAT plus for us!

We will definitely be back next time we’re in Krabi
