We loved the storybook charm of this property. Great location just off Ocean. The fireplace on foggy mornings and evenings was lovely! Breakfast was nice and came to our room on our schedule. We'll stay here again.

We stayed at Happy Landing from Thurs. 7/19 to Sun. 7/22 and our stay couldn't have been much nicer! Dawn, our Innkeeper/Owner was so very accommodating! She had everything ready for us upon check-in and even had a treat ready for our little dog. Our room was so quaint. I almost felt like I was staying at my great-aunties' house!...

Happy Landing was a whimsical, circa 1920's gem, located two blocks from Ocean Avenue, and perfectly situated for walking around Carmel. The room was comfortable and quiet, and the owner was very friendly and helpful. Having breakfast delivered to your door was a plus!

We enjoyed celebrating our 41st anniversary at this charming Bed and Breakfast Inn. Built in the tradition of the fantastic million dollar cottages of Carmel, we enjoyed feeling a part of the quaint, fairytale essence of the City. We were able to take our labrador with us and a treat for him was included with our delicious breakfast which we...

Charming and comfortable, and the owner is very friendly and helpful. The setting is beautiful and the location is perfect. It's two blocks from Ocean Avenue and less than a five minute walk to the beach. They welcome dogs, which is my first priority when selecting a place to stay. The rooms are very cozy and clean. As a bonus,...

Happy-Landing is my second favorite B&B in Carmel, the first would be the Lamplighter. Happy-Landing has so much character and the rooms are very comfortable. The staff is great and it is a very dog-friendly inn. Also, the location is perfect since it not on Ocean Ave but just a quick walk to town.

Our family had a wonderful time staying at the Happy Landing Inn in Carmel. Room #4 had plenty of room for 3 adults, 2 children, and 2 small dogs. Loved how the living room and bedroom had doors to allow for privacy. The room decor reflects the usual Carmel charm. Each morning, we were presented with a delightful breakfast of...

The hotel has individual rooms opening up on a charming courtyard and garden. THe rooms are comfortable, small, homey. The bathroom is very small but everything works super well. The breakfast offered is very good and everything was well kept and clean.

We have stayed at the Happy Landing Inn for over 10 years, and investigated many of Carmel's Bed and Breakfast's. None have the combination of charm, location, quiet and comfort as the Happy Landing Inn. Dawn is an excellent innkeeper and we intend to continue to stay at the Happy Landing Inn for many years to come. R&R

I was a little unimpressed. The chairs in the sitting room were pretty horrible both in comfort, age and feel (just seemed dirty). It was very stuffy in our room and just felt a bit "aged". Neither one of us wanted to shower the next morning because the shower was not very inviting, so we opted to wear hats instead....

The room these guests occupied had been painted and new carpet installed a week prior to their stay. All of our rooms are furnished with antiques, in keeping wth the overall atmosphere of the Inn which was built in 1926. Charis and sofas are cleaned on a regular schedule. Showers in all rooms are scrubbed between guests as part of...
