Room was fairly clean, just a little run down and cramped. Shower water did not drain so I had to take a quick shower and my wife was not able to take one or It would've flooded the room. Grounds were ok, common area was nice.

Super friendly staff. Little nice hotel. Clean. You really can't beat the location. Walking distance (about one or two blocks) from Bouchon, The French Laundry, Bottega etc. our friends stayed at near cities and it was not tha convenient for them to drive at night.

Dear 124humbertoh: Thank you for your review. While we hope that your comments are written about our property here in Carmel, I think you might be referencing the town of Yountville in the Napa Valley, as those restaurants are not located near us. At any rate, we hope you will have the opportunity to visit the Colonial Terrace here in...

Pleasant property very close to the ocean. Helpful and very nice staff at all levels. Room was a little cramped (garden King) but our friends had a one bedroom suite with small kitchen (unit 3) which was very roomy.

Close to the beach, away from the main downtown Carmel area so very quiet, friendly staff, clean rooms. We have stayed here many times over the past 20 years. Good for a romantic getaway or for big family events.

A lot of the reviews say this Inn is charming, gorgeous, amazing... I would say this Inn is the standard we paid for, which is, put simply, a clean place to stay if you're passing through Carmel. Everything was fine, the bed was fine, the bathroom was fine, the room was fine. And it was a good spot to explore...

The rooms were clean, and very nice. As with most things in Carmel this hotel was very charming. We will stay there again. The staff was very kind and the continental breakfast was just perfect. It has a bed and breakfast feel.

This Hotel we booked on a road trip through California. Sadly we stayed for just one night but found the staff and location super. Its a block or so away from the beach and a short walk into Carmel centre itself. Rooms are just immaculate and beautifully decorated. The staff could not be more helpful and overall a wonderful stay....

This was our favorite hotel! We had the best room in the hotel overlooking the ocean and we were less than a block away from a great ocean board walk. The hotel does not have a lot of amenities, it's more like staying in a boutique home with a beautiful room, a functioning fireplace and a big bathroom. If you're...

What a nice family owned hotel in Carmel, just a block from the ocean. Perfect location to go for long walks by the beach or elk to downtown Carmel! The rooms are spacious, clean and nice , with a welcoming homemade cookie. A nice continental breakfast was served in the morning in the lounge.
