We picked this lodge due to the great reviews on Trip Advisor, and the price of the lodge in comparison to the 5 star hotels in the area which were quite a bit more pricey. This property is extremely dated. I don't think it has been touched in 30 years. The rooms are very clean, but also very noisy. If...

We stayed for 2 days in room 9. It had a queen bed and a day bed. Initially, we were hoping to stay on the coast, but due to a golf tournament at Pebble Beach, we sought lodging away from the traffic and crowds. We couldn't have been more pleased. The restaurant was excellent. My husband was not feeling well...

We stayed here while in town for a wedding, and had a very nice visit. The room was decent sized, the bed comfortable, and we appreciated having a refrigerator in the room. There were only real annoyance was that the heater did not have a thermostat, so when we turned it on low before going to bed, we woke up...

Stayed three days for a wedding. Room was rustic but adequate. Restaurant food was excellent. Saloon is comfortable. Wedding venue under the 14th century oak tree was incredible. Wedding reception was excellent

The food was very, very good, the service friendly, we came early, but the restaurant filled very quickly. it seemed like many people there were repeat customers. The ambiance is charming, little old antiques on the walls, country style. There was plenty of outdoor seating which must be very enjoyable in warmer weather. Will come here again.

We came here first on honeymoon in 1999, then again in 2009 and again with our two children last month. This is a unique place for us. Its so vastly different from the uniform corporate global hotel chains and so much better. Its an historic place with accommodation spread across the grounds in tidy neat chalets, We had the Vanderbilt...

Los Laureles Lodge is located in the beautiful hills above Carmel and is a wonderful respite from the tourists and crowds in Carmel and Monterey. The charm and the ambience of the lodge causes you to overlook the dim lighting and some cracks in the walls. While the building could use a little TLC, the service and the owners are...

Sorry to say after 15 years of coming here, it's my last visit. Nostalgic is one thing, but broken locks, doors that don't close and general lack of maintenance is another. I reported that the front door of our room didn't lock and I was told the hotel is old. So is the Coronado, and the doors lock. A general...

This is the second time we've stayed at the Los Laureles Lodge and we will continue to stay here when we come up for the Sea Otter Classic bike race. We love it because it's quiet and quaint...plus it's an easy 15 minute drive to the race venue at Laguna Seca. The restaurant here is also very good!
