Lovely time. This is an older property with all the charms that come with age. Lovely room, view, kitchen, hot tub. The heaters are a bit funky. Staff were wonderful. I need more characters for this review to be posted so I'm writing this sentence. There did that do it?

Thank you for your great review and feedback. We are so glad you had a nice stay with us. That is funny you needed to write another sentence to be able to post, we've never seen that before, but thanks for the 5 star rating!

If you're looking for a swank resort experience best look elsewhere. As others have said, the photos make it look like something it's not. But if you love Carmel Valley more than Carmel, this is the place for you. Sure, the rooms are dated but they are clean, the bed is comfortable and the feel of the place is like...

Been coming here since my childhood and love everything about Blue Sky Lodge. Basic and old-fashioned, which I like. Clean, quiet, peaceful. Friendly owners and staff. Beautiful grounds and pool. Cozy common room with piano and more National Geographics than you could get through in your stay. Love the kitchenettes in some of the rooms + walking distance to the...

We stayed at Blue Sky Lodge Christmas Eve, with our small dog. They could not have been any nicer. It is quite dated, but our room was clean and the bed was wonderful. It is very quiet and you can't even hear Carmel Valley Road. It is so nice to have a reasonable, old fashioned place to stay that allows...

We members of the cruising group at the Monterey Peninsula Yacht Club annually come to Carmel Valley for our Land Cruise in November. This year we all stayed at the Blue Sky Lodge. It was a fabulous venue. The rooms are oldish but comfortable, many with a ikitchen and frig. The pool and hot tub were inviting but only the...

When my husband, my parents, and I arrived at the Blue Sky Lodge, I was skeptical, but hopeful. We were in town for my grandmother's funeral and the Blue Sky Lodge was a place my father's family had stayed at back when he was a child. The reviews online were pretty bad, but I was hopeful. My hope was squashed...

We are sorry you were disappointed. We are addressing your concerns and appreciate you bring them to our attention. Regarding lighting, being in the country we have found many of our guests enjoy not having overpowering lights so they can enjoy the grounds however we understand this time of year with limited daylight can be concerning to others. We had a great 3 day stay at Blue Sky Lodge. The rooms are pretty basic (albeit a little dated), but clean and spacious. It is a budget friendly room in a prime location in Carmel Valley. Completely worth the money. Just don't expect anything fancy.
