We stayed at the Cart Lodge as a family of 11 for a week and couldn’t fault the accommodation.
We were very impressed with the space and especially that there was an upstairs sitting room as well as a huge space downstairs. There’s plenty of room and lots of bedrooms and bathrooms. The accommodation is well equipped with all you need including bedding and towels, we were even supplied with extra towels. We were given lots of wood for the fire and had it on for a couple of nights. The washing machine, tumble drier and dishwasher all were very useful with 5 kids.
The information folder was very useful and we visited many places on the coast. The Wi-Fi worked without fault.
I would highly recommend the Cart Lodge for a stay.

I have recently spent a night at Lee Wick and Glamping and can say I very much enjoyed my stay. The location of our accommodation was spot on with panoramic views over fields and the sea. The access was easy and very well signed.

On arrival, the key was left in a locker and the pod was very clean and well presented. The facilities were enough to accommodate my needs and prepare a meal for two. The shower was lovely and the the pod was kept a constant warm temperature, with an electric heater to compliment.

The hot tub was an interesting experience, I followed the guidance provided, however it didn't reach a comfortable temperature. I started the hot tub fire at 6 and we got into the tub at 9 and it was warm-ish. I think this is user error as I didn't realise how long these take to warm up! The handle on the hot tub lid came off which wasn't ideal as these are heavy to move. If you stay here, I suggest starting the hot tub fire immediately.

The only negative comment I would mention is that my accommodation was situated next to the car park, and there was two cameras ( presumably for security) looking directly into the bathroom, overlooking the shower. If you was a tall women, these would clearly see you showering, however that is assuming they are active. I have attached a photo to show this.

To conclude, my stay was excellent and I will certainly be recommending this place to friends and family, and visit again.

Thank you,
Callum and Abby.

We’ve just returned back from our 2 night stay at Lee Wick Farm. We stayed in Megapod 1. The accommodation was really clean & well thought out. As it’s dog friendly we even got to bring along our little fur baby. We paid to have use of the hot tub which was a really lovely extra! Heated up within a few hours & was lovely to sit & watch the stars of an evening.
The bed was comfy & Mega Pod 1 has a shower shed outside of the pod itself which we really liked. Shower was powerful and very clean, also enough space in there to get changed with pegs to hang your clothes etc.
Within the accommodation they also had a built in speaker system so we didn’t need to worry about packing one of those.
A special little touch for us was the dog treats & poo bags that we were left upon arrival, thank you!!
We did some lovely coastal walks & can highly recommend the Chinese takeaway from the social club.

We stayed in a cargo-pod for our second visit to Lee Wick. I would recommend paying the extra cost for the hot tub as it definitely adds to the experience. Close drive to clacton sea front so plenty of places to eat and drink. There are various local fast food restaurants that deliver to Lee Wick, one of which is an amazing Chinese called Happy House. Facilities are clean and well kept but would recommend bringing extra blankets and duvets during winter months as it can get cold in the pods.

Hello Freddy, Thank you for your great review. We are so pleased that you had a great time staying with us again. It is always advisable to bring extra layers during the winter months. We do have an air conditioner with heater and an additional fan heater to help keep your pod warm. I hope that we will see you again soon at Lee Wick Farm. Best Wishes, Robert

Myself and my wife decided to make a visit for a ‘Mini Moon’ we had searched all over for a reasonably priced stay with a hot tub. We then came across this property and stayed in a lushna lux. Which was amazing , shortly after we booked we were sent x 3 guides detailing about the accommodation, local amenities and the local area. Every small detail was covered and also a paper copy was in the property itself.
From the first moment the admin make a point that they are not there to help you and the guides are there and simple enough to use.
There was more than enough logs and fire starters for our hot tub and fire burner.
We had an amazing time and infact wish we could have stayed longer ! It was peaceful in the evenings and could spend quality time together. We felt private enough to sit in our hot tub and sit on the decking. We struggle to find any fault in this place and highly recommend.

This was my third stay at Lee Wick Farm, having previously stayed in the Lushna with my husband, son and dog Christmas 2021 and 2022. This time we stayed at the Green Cargo Pod for 2 nights.
We enjoyed the hot tub again, and find the farm a peaceful and clean environment to stay. There are no interruptions, no unnecessary stuffy rules, you are allowed to enjoy your break in peace, and we will continue to stay here at Christmas times each year.
They kindly put up some birthday bunting for my husband.
We had adequate logs to get plenty of use out of the hot tub.
In the green pod there is a microwave, stove, bbq so plenty of options for cooking. Good size fridge.
Dinner table and sofa bed were in place, whilst husband and I had a comfy double bed in a private room. Lovely shower.
Would highly recommend.
Just to note, as the green pod is a metal container, you do not get phone signal (which is actually delightful!) but hang out the door and you get signal. So top tip, take a little portable radio or download music to be able to play off line if you so wish.

We had a perfect stay to celebrate new year! Our stay was better than we could have expected. It is very relaxing, quiet and picturesque. The Lushna's have the most beautiful views all day, we loved waking up to the sunrise in the mornings. We paid extra for the hot tub which was definitely worth it, we enjoyed heating it and star watching in the evening. We did make it a little too hot on the second night but used the hose to cool it back down. Everything was easy to follow and use. The room is perfect sized for glamping, shower was very hot and powerful. The kitchen had everything you needed, having more than one tea towel could have been useful as it got very wet washing up but this wasn't an issue. Bed was very comfy, we used the bedding and towel package which was great for saving room in the car. We enjoyed the log fire in the evenings, even in the cold weather! We followed the map on provided to walk down to the nature reserve/beach. This was about a 2 hour walk in total and its a great walk. Nisa shop was open so we were able to buy more logs and another fire starter kit when needed
Overall great stay, we can't wait to come again!

I was looking for a log cabin within an hours drive of our home in Essex and came across Lee Wick Farm Glamping. The price was very competitive compared to other places and their Lushnas were exactly the type of accommodation we were hoping for.
I was a little apprehensive as I read some of the negative reviews before booking. Even more so when I discovered I had to make a large deposit that I cannot afford to loose.
However, Lee Wick Farm was everything we had hoped for and more. Yvonne & Lee had fantastic communication from the start, providing sufficient information both via email and in paper form at the accommodation. We are extremely grateful for such prompt and helpful communication.
In knowing the hot tub would take some time and effort to heat up, we fired it up as soon as we arrived at 3.30pm and enjoyed a BBQ dinner before it was optimal temperature at around 6pm. It did get pretty hot after this and we just couldn’t find the knack to keep it at the right temperature - however we had such a giggle trying to work it all out.
In the evening, we enjoyed lighting the fire with pre purchased wood. The location of the farm is so peaceful and exactly what we needed.
The bed was comfortable (we brought our own bedding) and the place had all of the basics to keep you ticking over for one night. We brought a bin bag which was helpful and our own BBQ tools.
We left our camping chairs at home but these would have been ideal in front of the fire. However, we still had a wonderful and comfortable time with everything they had to offer.
We have had the best time this weekend and I almost didn’t want to leave a review as we wanted to keep this hidden treasure all to ourselves! We would highly recommend and as long as you read through all of the information provided in advance you really can’t go wrong. I am shocked at how anyone can leave a negative review about this place! 10/10!
Thanks so much for having us. Xx

In the lushnas the hot tubs are directly outside the pod. The pods are contained in a gated area, and you can see the door from the hot tub. If you are considering using the tub after your little one has gone to bed this would be safe- there’s no getting out or in the bathroom window so only exit is the door which you can see :)

Thank you for your rnquiry. We don't have any play equipment on site. You can walk (or drive) further down Lee Wick Lane to visit the nature reserve and on to the shingle beach. For nice sandy beaches i would reccommend driving (20 minutes to Holland on Sea, or (30 minutes) to Frinton on Sea. Many thanks.
