This wasn't going to be a negative report but the attitude of the owner prompts these comments. Our stay was for 4 nights. We tried to check in mid evening but reception was locked. It was at least 10 minutes of ringing the bell tbefore someone arrived. After booking in, we asked if, on our day of departure, that we could leave baggage at the hotel until our flight late evening. We were told reluctantly that that would be possible. On our checkout, we asked to leave our luggage, and were told by the owner that it was not possible. She was positively rude and unconcerned that they went back on their word. She was not concerned about the fact that as guests we were about to leave America that day and eventually had to sit at the airport for 12 hours. Although the rooms were made up each day, no coffee or cups were left, resulting in us having to ask, only to hear more tales of woe from the reception. The breakfast was non existant. Warm coffee and a pre wrapped pastry was the only thing in sight. The same slice of stale bread was there for 4 days. The room was small, and although clean, the sheets were marked Don't be prepared for pleasantries or help from reception at any time during your stay.

Here are some tips for dealing with the variety of problems you will encounter if you stay at this hotel:

1) There are no "Do not Disturb" signs. This means that if you are at the beginning of the maids' route, they will knock on your door at 8am. If you do not answer, the front desk will *call your room directly* and ask why you aren't answering your door.
How to deal: Wear ear plugs, unplug your phone.
Result: You will sleep in, but the maids will not come back later in the day and you will not get cleaning service.

2) The management people are always nasty to deal with. You can tell from the above that they have no clue about what is normal when running a hotel. For instance, they don't ordinarily let anyone look at the rooms first before paying.
How to deal: Be sure to insist on anything you really want. I insisted and they showed me a room.

2) The management will promise to fix things that won't get fixed. Although they did come and fix my heater (they called my room at 11:30 at night to ask if they could come in and fix it!), they never touched anything else that wasn't working.
How to deal: Check out your room carefully. If anything is broken, ask to switch rooms before committing.

4) The rooms are a little different although they all cost the same.
How to deal: Ask for a room with a fridge if you want one. I also recommend asking for a room at the end of the walkway if you don't want to hear a lot of foot traffic.

5) The clientele can be pretty colorful. I met some people who were almost certainly strung out, or criminal, or high-schoolers partying, etc. It does not have as much of the usual motel clientele of tourists and contractors.
How to deal: This can be quite entertaining.

6) Best reasons to stay here: This hotel has actually really nice architecture in a 60s kind of way. The graveyards at Colma are eerie and atmospheric. And the very best local donut shop I have ever been to is right across the street.

This motel has a very low customer service and not meeting quality standards as well misleading their product offer. This motel DOES NOT have AIR CONDITIONING resulting in sticky warm rooms. People left their door open to cool down and refresh their room. What was really a shame was that the bed sheets were old showing dirty sports and they keep using them. The Motel suggests that they offer breakfast but almost everything including basic items were “sold out”. When asking the reception the manager, who was more interested in her dog, gave the excuse that the truck did not arrive and got stuck in traffic. This she most likely is using daily as even basic things like a plate or jam..... were not present. Only coffee was available and there was no sign that anyone of the staff was interested in serving customers. The hotel is still quite a distance from San Francisco. The rooms are very noisy and hearing everything which happens upstairs. The overall impression is that the management of the hotel does not care about their guests and are only interested in saving cost by compromising on quality offered. I would NOT recommend this to anyone and would try to find an alternative.

I booked this place along with plenty of family and friends for a family reunion since it was one of the only places in Daly City. Had multiple rooms. Most of us looked walked in the rooms and just checked out. The others had to stay because they couldn't afford the cancellation. It's not what it looks like in the pics. A man (Chris) in a wife beater and shorts checked us in and hit on me and my cousins. Talking about how his wife (the other manager Carolyn) was a b word and that he would leave her soon then asked if I were married to my boyfriend. He continued to hit on me.

The room was small and floors were sticky. I'm a small 5'3" lady that had to sit sideways to use the toilet. There's stains on the bed. Had to buy a sleeping bag. The walls are thin, you can hear others sneezing and having sex. The heater did not work and when we asked for it to be fixed, Chris came in the room in his wife beater again and attempted to fix the heater by hitting with a screwdriver. Worked two minutes before it died again.

After the 48hr notice we checked out but Carolyn insisted we were still going to get charged although it was previously agreed upon by her and Travelocity that we were not.

I'm usually not the type to write bad reviews, but I would like to warn everyone what they may be getting into. It's a very cheap dirty inn. I would not recommend this place to anyone. This definitely is a place you would see in movies of the ghetto sleazy inns. I never knew a thing existed.

No running water. Asked speed freak for a refund on remaining two nights of a 3 night stay and let him know we would be checking out. He stated he couldn't refund our money and he was a resident on the property and was without water too. Finally left after consulting with credit card company dispute center. FYI hotel is filthy, no
AC, and yes breakfast consists of a packaged pastry from Costco and bad coffee.
Never in my travels have I had a worse experience.

Hi,
we got this motel in an emergency as the apartment which we booked was not that great, when we found this motel, we are not sure but one day after our stay we found it amazing as it was near to the Bart Station through which we could easily reach Downtown, Moreover they provised complimentry breakfast which was again worth the tariff...overall nice motel with affordable price.

Great little hotel. Very quiet at night. The queen room was perfect for my oldest daughter and I. Had no trouble finding a parking. We stayed on the lower level. The room was a little stuffy at night and I was hesitant to leave a window open cause we were on the very end closest to the side street. The surrounding area isn't to bad. Room was very clean. The bed was somewhat hard. Everything worked fine in the room.

Should not had made reservations in the first place. On their hotel write-up, there would be no fee if cancellation was made 48 hours in advance. I had to cancel my trip to SF due to a family emergency. I finally got in touch with someone over the phone 2 & 1/2 days before my trip. The lady on the phone was very rude, she did not allow me to speak. She was so manic on the telephone, she did not realizes that my cancellation was 60 hours in advance. Made well in advance from check in time which was 11 or 12 noon.. As it is, she charged me for the first night. She definitely should not be working the front desk/ answering the phones. It seem like she changes the rules whenever she wants to. And if she is the owner...Beware!

The service seem alright at first, nothing special, I had originally asked to a Non smoking room, when we got to our room, we were very disappointed the room was extremely small and smoky, they even had an ash tray and mashes, the bed was harder than an ironing board. It was too late for us to try to find another hotel, so we spend the night in the worse hotel I have ever stay in, & forget breakfast she told us it started at 7:00 and it was 7:35 and nothing was ready, several other people were also wondering what had happened to the so call continental breakfast. Location wasn't great , no restaurants near by, not real safe for families.
