Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

WAY overpriced for the quality and area, by like 50% or more. Furniture looks to be from IKEA circa 1995. Crappy college refrigerator is under the bathroom sink. No restaurant, horrible in room Keurig BS coffee. Overrated pool and hot tubs, rude front desk lady with 1.5in fake eyelashes. No hotel store, almost got killed crossing the busy highway to get water. One FILTHY elevator, long walk to half the rooms with our heavy suitcases. The view was nice, but it would have been just as well to stay in our rental car. VERY cheap soap when the dispensers weren't empty. Large dog in the next room barking at everyone who walks by. Everything needs cleaning or paint.

Very quiet. Great rooms. I was checked in by Angela. Angela was all smiles and patiently well manored. I was kindly greeted upon arrival and was very pleased with the customer service I’ve received. I would recommend staying at this spa. Jacuzzi and pool were clean, quiet and open late. :)

one of the comfiest beds ive slept on! had the soleil suite and the pool was awesome! had little rubber duckies placed nicely with our robes and slippers. The private pool was a glorified jacuzzi in the one it was nice and cozy with it being our personal pool great to relax and getaway for a quick vacation.

I would give this place five stars. However, the fees racked up so much so it has left a bad taste of my mouth. Unexplainable fees is what would hurt anyone's feelings I haven't received any notification on what the extra fees were all about aside from all of that, SYLVIA was the bright light during my stay. She single-handedly made my stay feel very welcoming, as a result of her approach I was at ease and could enjoy my stay. THANK YOU SYLVIA I

The staff is wonderful, the Mountain View spectacular, the rooms clean are clean and spacious. A special shoutout to Samantha doing the evening shift. Then there is the mineral hot springs right outside your doorstep. 3 pools with varying temperatures and Palm Springs 20 minutes away with access into the valley down a pretty country road.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. The pictures do not tell the truth. The “spa” is room 118. The pool is a cesspool. The room is a cell with no windows. Noisy, motel 6 at best. Lots of families and tourists in a VERY blue collar town. Nothing worth eating nearby.

The hotel feels fresh and clean. Love the big pool and hot tub. It was just my husband and me but we loved seeing families enjoying the pool. We like that it is not far from family in Cathedral City and on I-10 we can be at our cousins in Indio quickly.

It's been about 10 years since we overnighted in Desert Hot Springs, and the place we used to stay seems to have gone downhill, based on current reviews. We did some searching and were so pleased to find Aqua Soleil, our new favorite hot springs hotel! It's got a pretty hip vibe and the staff were all super friendly and helpful. We soaked and splashed in the 90 degree mineral pool every day for HOURS. So relaxing. They also have two smaller tubs with higher temps. The property is well kept, clean, and quiet. It may be wild during Coachella, but in late January it was totally chill. This part of DHS seems pretty safe. There was a homeless camp hidden in the middle of the adjacent parcel of wild chaparral, which we could see, barely, from our balcony. I was a little worried for those folks living that hard life. Walking distance to grocery stores and restaurants. The DHS library is next door. There's a really cool Airstream resort taking shape behind the hotel and a large city park/soccer field beyond that. They're pet friendly, which we love, but the pet fee is $75 a night per dog, which was much as the hotel stay per night. Our dogs are 4lbs and 9lbs so that fee was definitety high compared to other places we've stayed with them, but the room rate for a nice big King mountainview room was surprisingly inexpensive, so it all balances out in the end.

This is a decent hotel for a short stay while visiting Palm Springs and JT National Park. A big bonus for keeping the pool area open until 10 pm, allowing us to take advantage of the jacuzzi on the day we checked in as we had an early departure. There was also a recreational area with ping pong and foosball for evening entertainment. My only complaint was having a room on the first floor meant that if you happen to have loud stumpers on the 2nd floor, you would need some earplugs. We stayed in a regular room, but they also offer suites with private mineral pool in them.

What a great experience! The room was spacious and clean. The pool and hot tubs were just what we needed after a day of hiking and the hotel was quiet at night so my son could sleep. We didn't get to use the spa while we were there but the menu of services seemed like it would have been amazing for some relaxation.
