I stayed one night and the hotel was very well maintained and it is located near the shopping area. I was hoping the staff are more friendly during check in. My room wasn't ready at the time of check in and he gave me the...More
Excellent choice for when you are visiting Oakland or Berkeley. The hotel is very new and modern. Comfortable rooms with nice views of the bay. Excellent onsite bistro for breakfast. Close by shopping and dining.
This is a full-service hotel convent for visits to Oakland, Berkeley, and San Francisco by BART. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the rooms are nice. There are good sidewalks for walking to nearby stores, and a free bus stop is nearby.

Do not recommend you stay in East Bay Area much of your time will be idled away awaiting to cross the bridge, should be about $6.00 toll. Then parking is nothing short of a nightmare. Spend a couple of extra dollars stay in SanFran and enjoy your time. Go over to Fishermans Wharf area decent hotels and lots of inexpensive transportation options to maximize your time and attractions. If you rent a car for East Bay Area ask for something with a real trunk, keep your items out of sight, rental cars break-ins are at an all time high on that side. Safe travels!
