The rooms are basic and small, but fairly clean. Staff was great. Breakfast also basic. While the hotel is small and right on 101, it was fairly quiet and had little road or train noise. For the rate, it was a good value.

Just a short walk from both the beach and a fun coffee shop, we had another great stay. We specifically came back here again, after having such a good experience back in October, 2014. We will come back again the next time we visit San Diego.
