What an amazing place. Highest levels of service I have ever experienced. Although a large site the design makes it seem as it is a collection of smaller resorts. Nothing was too much trouble for the always cheerful staff whether they were servicing the rooms or providing meals. Michael from Burundi was always attentive on the beach providing us with towels, raising and lowering the parasol- often several times in the day. Emilia on the beach kept a steady supply of cold fresh water, lunch time meals and then early evening cocktails with grace and a ready smile. Round the garden pool Emilia was also very attentive with drink and meals and in the Ouzo restaurant we enjoyed our conversations with Efi as she recommended our wine.
We only ate at the Olivia restaurant once and wished we had discovered it earlier as all the staff were just great. I highly recommend this resort for couples and families
I wish I new the names of the room service ladies- they were so cheerful and welcoming on our first morning

Ikos Odissia is an amazing holiday resort.
I am writing this review because I see some people trying to say negative information.
I don’t know how to phrase this, but maybe they just want the hotel to be perfect with zero faults.
We paid for 9 nights 4800 euros in a one bedroom suite all inclusive. The price was good. Usually we pay this in Marrakech with Room only.
Also not many hôtel have heated swimming pool in Europe in October or April so Ikos is perfect. Imagine the cost to heat up so many pools.
It does take a few days to realise how amazing the resort is and the staff and the service. The Grecque were so lovely.
We loved it so much we going to Ikos again next year.
The only down side was there was no club to dance at night. But that’s for me personally.
On picture and review you don’t even see 10% of what they have to offer there. Honestly this place is amazing.
As we left they had shut some rooms and put plastic sheets over the curtains for the winter , maybe that they don’t change colour or get dusty in the winter while the hotel is shut.
We were so busy having a good time we forgot to ring my mother for 1 week. And we got told off after 1 week when we called home 😀.
Everything is excellent there food and service and room and pool and activities and staff and buggy men.

Good luck to Odissia

Wow, this hotel is beautiful and the service is amazing. From the moment we arrived we were treated like we were special. We never touched our bags, checked in was extremely personal and friendly over drinks.

The rooms was fantastic. No rushing for sun beds, available anytime of the day with pool service which was fantastic. Fila around the garden pool especially stood out his manner and professionalism was excellent.

The restaurant settings are superb, complemented by excellent food (24hr) We found it very easy to reserve bookings for the restaurants both prior to arrival and on arrival. Evenings meals at the sea grill we reserved via customer relations (not on app). Even the buffet had excellent choices. We got engaged whilst there and was lucky enough to have a complimentary meal on the beach which was really romantic in such a fantastic setting.

You get a complimentary courtesy car for the day (need to book via app), stocked branded mini-fridge, turn down service, pool / beach service, 6 (I think) restaurants, lot of pools and a beach area, superb gym, spa, tennis, kids/teen clubs plus more all to enjoy as you wish.

Would we go back? Yes, have already booked. Is it expensive? Yes but worth it for a couple imo, be vigilant and flexible you can get good deals.

Excellent memory’s, with more to come.

We booked our holiday based on an incredible and faultless stay at Aria last year and previous experiences at Sani Beach and Sani Dunes over the years.
Odisia just did not come close.
The positives are the lovely setting, beach and views, particularly from the restaurants and some staff, especially the staff on the beach, Thasos and the 2 girls ( didn’t get their names) in particular. However we felt the service or lack of service at times impacted on our overall experience.
Our room wasn’t ready on arrival so it was suggested we could have lunch and would be contacted when our room was ready. Nobody greeted us at the restaurant and we didn’t know the process and whether it was self service/ a la cart. Service was slow, wrong drinks arrived after we had reminded our waiter and we wasn’t notified that our room was ready so we returned to reception to check to be told it was actually ready. Not the best of starts.
We ordered beach buggies on two consecutive nights which never turned up on both occasions despite contacting reception several times and being assured they were “on the way”.
Waiting a long time for orders to be taken and meals to arrive in restaurants then wrong orders arriving was often the norm very frustrating. We found our meals were often luke warm. Bottles of wine were often placed out of sight which meant you couldn’t top your drink up, this wasn’t done automatically and finding someone to do this was frustrating and unnecessary when they were short staffed and often the staff were obviously lacking training.
House cleaning was hit and miss. Our wall hung shower gel and shampoo were empty on arrival and were never topped up during our weeks stay. We asked housekeeping for some eventually but the wall hung bottles were obviously never checked or refilled.
Turn down service was hit and miss and once we walked into our room and it actually looked like we had been burgled. The throw and cushions literally looked like they had been just thrown off the bed with no care or attention.
At Aria EVERY member of staff had a smile and hello when you passed them and they appeared genuinely happy in their work. We didn’t find this was always the case at Odisia, in fact one golf buggy driver was actually rude when we tried chatting to him.
While I acknowledge the hotel is new and was clearly understaffed with an obvious lack of training for many of the staff, some of whom are really trying their best, when you are paying over 6 thousand pond for a weeks holiday for 2 this is not acceptable. This is the first Ikos/ Sani resort that I wouldn’t return to.

This was my sixth stay at an Ikos and was very much looking forward to visiting the recently opened hotel.

It was pricer than the others so expectations were high

Pros
Food was lovely
Beautiful surroundings
Clean bar the beach (left bottles which were there several hours)

Cons

Service from a lot of colleagues who are inexperienced and not up to the usual IKOS standards
Slow service in some of the restaurants
Buggy availability (one evening had to wait an hour)
Management presence was poor

Even after complaining they did not deal with it how I would have expected

Overall I wouldn’t recommend as very overpriced for what is is. Hopefully it will be rectified once they are more established

The magic of Ikos Odisia awaits you!

What an absolutely exquisite Hotel this is, we have just returned, having experienced a truly magnificent holiday at, what doubtless is the jewel in the crown of Ikos Hotels.

From the moment we arrived, the very fabulous Guest Relations Manager Anastasia Malliri ensured that our stay was wonderful, thus enabling us to create many precious Family memories.

We stayed in room 3017 in the Central Pool area, it was a spacious and beautifully decorated junior suite with private garden and pool view, which proved to be a perfect location and wonderful room.

The stunning restaurants, accommodation, food and wine were outstanding, the breathtaking views are spectacular, without exception.

Everything about our stay was perfect, we are already planning our return in 2024!

We walked over to Ikos Dassia ( as beautiful as ever!) to use the water-sports, and whilst there, we were delighted to have lunch at Kerkyra and to meet up with Anastasios Cheimarios, who is the wonderfully talented and very knowledgeable Ikos Dassia Sommelier.

Having been enormously lucky enough to stay at Ikos Dassia twice, it was tremendous to meet up with some of our old Friends, who are still there.

The joy of Ikos is such, that the Ikos Dream Team, are Friends, who very quickly become Family.

We extend our very special thanks and sincere appreciation to Anastasia, for your kindness, attention to detail and unending assistance to us, you are an asset to Ikos, a ray of sunshine, immensely professional and an amazing Lady.

Thank you to Elena Zachari and Panagiotis( Food and Beverage Manager) your unending commitment, professionalism and impeccable dedication shine through and it is clear that the success of your teams is achieved, as a direct result of your terrific leadership and vast experience.

Thank you Thanos Dambas for your kindness and generosity, we were delighted to meet you, another wonderful Ambassador to Ikos Odisia.

If you are thinking of hiring a boat or going on a boat trip, we wholeheartedly recommend, that you make contact with Maria at Corfu Boat hire.

Maria and her beautiful Family run a fantastic boat hire company and they can accommodate your individual requirements.

You can find Maria at the beach at Ikos Dassia in her office, which is located next to Kerkyra Restaurant.

We have previously hired a boat on two occasions and a very experienced Skipper, who is one of Maria’s fabulous Sons and is called Fanis.
Both days proved to be real highlights of our holiday.

One final vote of thanks goes to beautiful Liana, who works in the gift shop at Odisia. Liana is a very kind and helpful Lady, who doubtless will be thrilled if you have the chance to say hello, when you are there!

It is clear that the Greek principle of Philoxenia, ( the love of strangers; an eagerness to show hospitality) is perfectly demonstrated at Ikos Odisia, by all who constantly strive to ensure that the best and most authentic service comes from the heart.

Thank you Ikos Odisia - we shall return.
If you are reading this and contemplating a visit, don’t hesitate to book! Ikos Odisia will capture you in her heart too! ❤️ xx

On the whole this is an incredible hotel and once the teething problems are resolved it will be a fantastic place to holiday. The staff around the deluxe pool are the best we’ve experienced anywhere and they looked after us incredibly well. The management team of Thanos, Achilles etc are definitely the best of the best and nothing is too much for them to sort. The service on the whole was absolutely first class and as good as we’ve experienced anywhere else like Sani or Four Seasons. That said, room service can take a long time, and the rooms were often not made up until the evening. There was no turn down service which you expect from a holiday that costs 24k.

The restaurants are very well placed and planned - ouzo is simply outstanding and if you can get some space on the beach by ouzo on the right side by the natural shade, it’s the best spot in the resort bar none.

The food and the wine are the only real gripe. When you pay for a deluxe all inclusive you expect better than 5 euro wine in the room mini bar. That needs addressing. With regards food it was a bit variable - on the whole very good but not the choice of other resorts or Sani. On our last night we ate in Fresco on the beach and my wife ordered the sea bass. What came out was a dry flavourless piece of fish with some peas thrown on the plate rolling off. It’s the sort of thing that would be fine on a kids menu but lacks any style, flavour or imagination. At least put the fish on a pea purée or make some kind of effort. If the quality of the food can be resolved it’s the last piece of the puzzle on what will be one of the best resorts in Europe. Spectacular views and service - Thanos was always ready to sort anything out for us. The deluxe pool staff can not be praised highly enough.

We have just returned from this hotel / resort and it was amazing. We were first timers at Ikos and had very high expectations. We were blown away by the resort, staff, food & facilities - it was a truly amazing holiday.

We had a superior double room with a garden and it was so lovely. Our daughter had a sofa-bed to sleep on. The beds & pillows were so comfortable. The room was cleaned everyday, with towels being changed and minibar replaced & we had a turn down service.

We spent a lot of time around our nearest pool, in the garden village and it was just brilliant. The staff were so attentive and constantly making sure you are ok and taking any food / drink orders. Special thanks to Greta, Anastasia & Kate - they were so lovely and nothing was ever too much trouble. The special cocktails at this bar are so delicious.

Food at all of the Al Carte restaurants was lovely but the Buffett was also very good, all the food was delicious.

All in all we had a fantastic holiday, it’s definitely a 5 stars luxurious hotel and one that we are wanting to return to next year.

Thank you Ikos Odisia for making our stay a memorable one and we will see you next year.

This was our second Ikos hotel visit and we were disappointed this time around unlike the first time at Dassia. This is a very big estate and different from a single hotel concept.

They are clearly understaffed and under prepared for their first season.. we are a couple in our 50s and were placed in a room close proximity to the children’s pool and while this resort is built for families, it was very noisy all day long and very unpleasant. We expected there to be an adult area where we could escape the throngs of children, but we’re disappointed to not find one across the 3 pools in the resort.

On our first day, we sat at the pool closest to the beach as there were no sunbeds available in the other
Pool areas, We were told we couldn’t stay as we were not part of the deluxe area which was very frustrating after our long trip and unlike Dassia’s layout. We did ask to move rooms but they said they were sold out and could only move us two days later to another area in the Ocean Village. Very nice of them to upgrade us to a better room so we did appreciate that but, were stuck in between many families with very young kids.

I emailed for 5 days asking for restaurant reservations as there was only 10pm available or not at all. It took a couple days after speaking with guest relations to get us reservations at a normal time.

Housekeeping and room service was very inconsistent. They often didn’t pick up the phone and didn’t resupply on a daily basis so we had to call and ask for supplies For a new resort there, were a number of broken items including our front door which we came back from the beach and was wide open for hours. Luckily nothing was taken.

While I can see the value for families and the food was on average okay, the poolside and room service food was the same and was poor. They need to work on their menus and food consistency.

The staff were trying hard but there we’re complaints from some of the team we spoke to about being overworked and under trained.

This is not at the level that we expect from an Ikos resort and won’t return here unfortunately.

Amazing stay (ten days from 9 Aug). Family holiday for ten days and we loved it. Excellent food, great service and a beautiful beach. Rooms were (of course) brand new and Wi-Fi worked perfectly across the whole resort (something my children really appreciated). The WhatsApp concierge service was really good too, and took a lot of hassle out of the whole trip. Check-in was a comfortable and relaxing experience. Evening entertainment was fun and varied (although a two week cycle would be better than one week, for anyone staying longer than a week); big resort over a lot of space, but the buggies are always available to transport you if you need to get anywhere. Special thanks to Sarah and Amelie at the main breakfast buffet and Julia in the main pool for their exceptional service. Definitely on the cards to return next year :)
