We loved staying in this charming old house in the delightful village of Exochori. We've been meaning to come here for 10 years and we finally made it! Caroline and Christine are warm, gracious and humorous hosts who make a great breakfast!!! This is a fantastic place to stay if you like walking as there are so many walks straight...

We stayed here for 3 nights in July and had a wonderful time. The house is in a beautiful, quite location in Exorhori, with fantastic views over the village and the coast near Kardamyli. Very friendly welcome - first from the local cat who led the way to the house, then from Caroline and Christine who provided tea and home-made...

This was our favorite guesthouse of all the many wonderful places we stayed in Greece. Kristine and Caroline are warm and gracious hosts and their restored home is lovely. We enjoyed our breakfasts with Kristine and walking the lovely gardens on their grounds. The village of Exochori is off the beaten track and was much quieter than most other places...

If you are looking for a place of sanctuary to just escape and relax or hike this place is perfect. Off the grid, it is worth the drive up the mountain. The rooms are comfortable, the breakfast excellent, and the hosts are good and kind. You need a car, but once you get there, soak up the peace. The tavern...

This place is perfect for hiking enthusiasts, or if you want some true relaxing time. One of the owners is a qualified mountain guide and she can lend maps for great walks (of various length, but all need legs work). The view from the balcony is superb, and the place can definitely be in some interior design magazine (or it...

....everything the other reviewers have said, and more. Peaceful, relaxing, beautiful inside and out, clean, warm and welcoming from Caroline and Kris, a great variety of stunning walking, flora and fauna, friendly tavernas, good food, and even strawberries for breakfast fresh from the garden. Perfect for a self-sufficient traveller seeking a quiet week's walking. I managed fine without a car,...

My second visit to One Foot on the Mountain and I hope not the last. Kris and Caroline are welcoming hosts and their distinctive and comfortable village house is well planned and spacious with sunny patios and garden nooks for lounging, reading or even perhaps spotting the little owl visiting in the evening. The views are sublime, breakfast fresh and...

Caroline and Kris run a beautiful guesthouse in a wonderful spot - in a part of Greece which is still unspoilt. Our room was clean and comfortable and we were really impressed with the use of environmentally friendly products. Breakfast was delicious. The garden is amazing - even at the end of April newly planted vegetables were springing up and...

We chose to stay here rather than in Kardamili as it sounded 'different.' We were not disappointed. Caroline was a lovely host, offering unobtrusive but superb hospitality which made for a really relaxing few days. This traditional stone house has been sensitively renovated and the furnishings are unfussy and well thought out. Our room had a wonderful view and seemed always...

My first trip to the Peloponnese and it exceeded even my (very high) expectations. The superbly renovated, and eco friendly, traditional house and beautiful garden make an excellent base from which to sample the unique atmosphere of the Mani. The wonderful Vikos Gorge is just a short walk away and there are myriad opportunities to explore both the higher reaches...
