Forget the run-down cabin and the price per night. I get that--its June and it's Yosemite. What I cannot forgive is the level of apathy among the staff at this "resort." The location is perfect for enjoying the variety of outdoor activities in and around Yosemite. The cabins are lovely and comfortable. We had an impromptu spring trip for my family and stayed at the lodge. Got there Thursday and had the place seemingly all to ourselves for the first day and a half. So peaceful, serene, and remote. I recently spent four nights here with my family and can't say enough about the place! The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. There are lots of activities for you the kids. You're just far enough outside the park to escape the crowds but still an easy drive into the park. I'll definitely be staying again.
