Upon arrival we were advised that the road to go into the main Yosemite area was closed, and it would be a 3 hour drive each way to go around. This obviously made me upset since it took us 4 hours to get to the lodge from San Francisco. The front desk person was very nice and apologetic and said...

Stayed with husband and two kids 5 and 1 year old. Wish we could have spent more time at the lodge, but road closure on 120 inside park had us change plans. Staff was very accommodating to our need to change plans due to road closure. Very friendly. Restaurant has quick service for dinner. Family friendly place. Very close to...

My family and I enjoyed a wonderful time at Evergreen. The customer service was outstanding, the cabins were clean, warm, and inviting, the outdoor hot tub was amazing after days of hiking, the facilities were updated, the activities were abundant, and the food was much better than average. I cannot say enough good things about the staff and amenities. The...

Stayed for three nights with the family as part of our road trip. Cabin was comfortable and clean. There were plenty of things to do around the camp and the pool and hot tub were great. Every staff member we encountered whilst there were very cheerful and helpful. I see other reviewers have commented that the place is staffed by...

We stayed for 3 nights in early April, and couldn't be more impressed. Our room was clean and comfortable, the food at the on site restaurant was amazing, a very helpful activities desk, and there was so much do with the kids: clean, heated swimming pool (with a great view!), rec room w/games, ping pong, pool table, a fun little...

My kids and I had so much fun here. The hot tub was big enough for 20 people so we enjoyed swimming there. The pool is heated but still a little too cold. To be fair, it was hailing, snowing, and rainy during our stay. :) We had some smores. We walked around their little hiking trail.Parts of it were...

In December I booked reservations at the Evergreen Lodge. Yesterday they texted me to advise of a road closure that would make traveling to Yosemite Valley a 3 hour drive. I am so appreciative that they cared enough about their customers to do this, even tho it was most likely detrimental to their bottom line. The staff was very helpful...

Hello, this is Teri from the Evergreen writing on behalf of our team to thank you for your kind words and for helping us spread the word about the road work forcing current guests to take the long road into the Valley. We're sorry that you had to make other arrangements and look forward to welcoming you back another time....

Our family rented a few cabins and spend two night there and wished it was more. It is located deep into the back woods, so far we thought we were lost at one point when driving to the lodge. The cabins were well appointed, the Lodge, gift store and rec center were inviting and not over the top touristy. You...

From the moment we had reached check in and had gotten upgraded to a bigger cabin (we travelled with our 9month old baby-we had lots of stuff!) we knew Evergreen was going to be awesome. The staff are lovely and helpful. The facilities and play spaces, for both young and old, are great. The food at their restaurant was one...
