We arrived late due to weather and found our room had been given to a complaining guest then given the exact kind of room the guest had complained of without having been advised of the acute nature of the problem, that of trains passing by only steps away throughout the day and night. There are non "train side" rooms that...

This hotel was great for the price. It was very clean and the housekeeping came in every day to make beds and replace towels. The only thing I did not like was the breakfast. It was very limited and did not appeal to our family.

This LaQuinta is really close to family in the area and is preferred. We have stayed here before, yet found the property not up to speed. Took a chance over the holidays and improvements are nearing completion. This trip we stayed in the "silo". Frankly, these rooms are nice. We were on the I-5 side, not the railroad track side....

I want to give a better review because the staff was so pleasant and helpful, and it's such a unique property. The rooms appeared clean but the fixtures are worn and could use freshening. The first room we were assigned smelled of smoke and poop. We asked for a different room and the desk staff was very apologetic and accommodating....

Our 5th time staying here for the Xmas season. Usually we stay in the silos but this time opted for the other side on 3rd floor. Much quieter. Consistently good stay. The silo rooms are huge but even this one in the building is pretty large. Breakfast is yummy.

Had a concert at the Coach house so rented a room wow alittle bit of Irvine history what a surprise! Bean and grain mill converted to a fabulous hotel. Silos have the rooms around it even echoes. the concrete from silos still decorate the walls little but of history in each room what a gem and beds comfortable rooms clean!...

I've stayed in other La Quinta properties in different locations, and have found that they are a good value in services provided. Not so with this location!!! A dirty bathroom (fecal matter? smeared on floor and side of the bathtub) and a Motel 6 style breakfast is what you'll get if you stay in this property. Wedged in between the...

You should expect a room that is clean and well taken care of, and we failed you here. We're very sorry and we'd...

Business travel on tight budget might consider this for Irvine Area however cleanliness and breakfast have opportunities to improve. Make sure you ask to stay away from any "pet friendly" rooms. Have stayed at better and worse La Quinta Inns. The franchise needs to be more consistent in their execution.

Dirty bathrooms, air conditioner/heater not working nor repaired when reported. Call center misrepresented the type of rooms available, so room booked on misleading information resulting in additional costs.

One of the buildings is an old, converted grain silo. The only parts really left are the concrete silos, which are where the rooms are located. So your walls are 6" think concrete! To me this is cool and give the room a unique feel. The rooms themselves are relatively modern and clean, as are the common areas. Service was...

“DON'T stay in this place”
debram508, 10 Apr 2017 | Read review
“Don't even think about staying in the concrete building at the back unless you're not interested in sleeping at all.”
  • Decorative accents did little to dress up the cement walls.
  • I felt like I was staying in an unfinished basement.
  • Taken from my window. Train rolls by every 30 minutes throughout the night. Miserable night.
