Found a good deal on Groupon for this quaint historic inn and decided to use it during Valentine's week. Arrived about two hours early after a scenic local hike and were able to check-in. Received a cozy 2nd floor room. Front desk clerk, Karen, actually let us choose from 3 options which was nice. We relaxed and walked about the...

We love this hotel. Very romantic and sweet. On the street of Julians main road we love the location and LOVE the hotel itself. A real feel of quieter days gone past. My husband and I made huge efforts to get there after being snowed/mudded in!!! WORTH IT.

Absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. It felt cozy and loved the detail of the Hotel. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The host was very nice and gave us useful information. I would definitely stay here again.

On 19-20 January 2017 enjoyed a 2-day, 2-night stay at this 5-star fabulous hotel! Can’t say enough positive things about the hotel and the staff! The hotel itself is a living museum, with many photographs and memorabilia depicting the history of not only the hotel but also of the local community. Staying at the hotel includes a delicious daily breakfast,...

The Julian Hotel is such a great hotel to step back in time to the era of the Gold Rush in San Diego County. The rooms are great, the owners and staff are very friendly with great service and the breakfast is wonderful. We have been staying at the Julian Hotel for years and always want to go back

It was such a lovely stay. The staff made us feel welcomed and the breakfast was delicious! We enjoy sitting by the fireplace and drinking some coffee. Even though we were on the second floor it was still a nice small room to enjoy our warm stay when there with snow outside.

Came up on a rainy day, Friday December 30th, to this awesome Julian Gold Rush Hotel B&B. Never stayed in Julian, just always came up for the day, but this time wanted to experience more of Julian’s hospitality. Everyone so friendly here, met quite a few really nice people from other cities and states. Breakfast was superb, well-presented and healthy...

Staying here reminds you to take some time and enjoy the past, as you are just an open door to the present. My girlfriend and I spent a wonderful New Years in this quaint, gold rush era hotel. From the moment we arrived we were surrounded by the furniture and music from a nostalgic time. Our hosts, Lisa and Connie...

This was our second year as a couple staying here. We are always warmly greeted and were remembered! The atmosphere, food and rooms are wonderful. We have a fantastic breakfast each morning. As I am Gluten Intolerant, they make one specially for me. The music and rustic warmth of the hotel is so refreshing and inviting. I have stayed at...

After the crazy drive up the mountain & the horrible traffic coming into Main St, which the locals told me, was super rare (it WAS the day after New Years), my husband & I arrived at this cute olden day inn. This inn is super old so I'm surprised when other guests are surprised at the lack of elevators, huge...
