$6 for a non ac and $10 for AC rooms. we tried both. Do carry mosquito repellent when you stay here. You will need it Non ac rooms are no frill rooms. A bed + bath + fan Ac rooms are no frill rooms. A bed+ bath+AC+TV or the price you pay you cannot ask for room. Best thing about...

The rooms here were cheap at around $5 per night. This was a fan room with a fully working tv. It was clean and tidy. The bed did snap as I fell on it drunk and broke the solid frame!! I'm not heavy so found this odd... But had a good sleep on the floor. Great location not too far...

No point giving this place a low rating, you pay for what you get! $6 a night for a room is never going to be a bounty of luxury! The room is basic but the fan did a great job, the beds are large (pillows slightly uncomfortable) and the bathroom delivers cold water! It does the job and I have...

We were staying in GBT for 3 days. When we arrived we directly arranged a VISA at the reception, they told us it would be finished the next day at 5. That sounded good so we could leave the same evening with our VISA to Vietnam. When we wanted to Pick up the VISA, no one knew where either the...

Rooms are clean and restaurant has a decent selection although my friend was served rotten eggs and mosquito jam one morning. It's a bargain but the staff are pretty unhelpful. Close proximity to the beach which is good. The main complaint I had was how it felt like a brothel, just not a nice atmosphere seeing sex workers waddle off...

Nice room for $10 per night. Air Con, hot water a porch and good free WiFi. Maid service was available, but it was on a "don't ask; don't get" basis. The beach was a short walk. Only used Tuk-Tuk to and from the bus. Staff friendly and helpful. Restaurant was okay, not my first choice, but adequate.

Stayed here for 4 nights, the only reason? The price! $8 for 3 of us (2 adults and an 11 year old) for a clean room with 2 beds, a fan above each bed, a private bathroom with cold shower and cable tv that actually works. So, what's wrong with it? Mainly the staff, and there are LOADS of them...

Would not recommend- reception staff are quite disinterested. Rooms are plain, mildly grotty but had difficulty getting them to clean even after 2days stay. Any requests met with blatant disregard. It was cheap but I think better value fan rooms in nicer surrounds. they charge for absolutely everything- even a plastic cup to take to our room, cup of hot water,...

After traveling all over Asia, you'd expect one to be used to $6 rooms and their 'quirks'. This place has plenty of quirks, you can make friends with cockroaches, be shouted at by the staff for helping or asking for a 'clean' towel and even meet a family of giant rats :D DISGUSTING! There is a place across the road,...
