This is a high end onsen resort. Service was impeccable. They do have staffs speaks English. they have private parking lot and valet parking. Rooms are big. they are all suite. Food was good. The chef tried to create some western/Japanese fusion dishes. It was not bad but I preferred the chef sticking to all traditional Japanese meal. Jigokudani (Hell... More

Luxury ryokan with 5 stars services. We received a good services since we arrived, until we left the hotel. Food was great both dinner and breakfast. 2 hot spring pool available, ground floor and top floor. Prices was very high but they prove that it worth the pay.

I had read the reviews regarding this Ryokan which was touted as the #1 Ryokan in Japan by Japanese nationals. So, I decided to splurge and enjoy our trip to Noboribetsu in a Western / Japanese room with a private outdoor Onsen. I was not disappointed. The grounds were beautifully maintained, the staff were friendly and accommodating with an English... More

I was searching a great hot spring inn in Noboribetsu and finally found the one which we love very much. A moment we walked in the building, we liked the atmosphere very much. We stayed the room, CY, which has two beds, living area and tatami room along with bathroom, toilet and washing area. The room has the great view... More

Located in Noboribetsu, Hokkaido, this onsen ryokan offers an excellent experience for us. After arriving and a quick registration, we were shown to a sitting room where there are comfortable sofas and soft music, a beautiful scenery of the Japanese garden outside, and being served with matcha and yokan, while the rooms are prepared for us. We were then taken... More

The setup is meticulous Japanese high end accommodation. You will be treated with a welcome tea before being taken to your room. Dinner and breakfast included (both excellent sumptuous feasts) are served at a private dining room designated to you. There are two shared hot spring and also one in your own room. Well worth the money !!

I've just left the hotel while I'm writing this review. We loved the hospitality of Japanese in general and truly the service and quality here is immaculate. Most of which other reviewers had mentioned the quality and service. I would like to also add there is a special part to it is that they would require all to remove footwear... More

First, the moment when we arrived at this hotel, we already had staff helping us with our suitcases and bags before check-in time. The room itself was just beautiful. We booked the private onsen room for our stay, and it was totally worth it. We could go to our private onsen and look at the scene outside. It was simply... More

Spent our second night in Noboribetsu here after being at Dai Ichi the first. Totally different experience. The building itself and the views to the forrest are absolutely remarkable and one of the most peaceful, zen like places we've visited in Japan. We chose a room with bath but without private onsen. It was gorgeous and very comfortable. The strange... More

The room was quite good and the dinner provided is a bit different from the usual onsen hotel. But the dinner is still quite good. I prefer the outdoor onsen as it's cool and with the onsen, the feel is really great. As there's no bathroom for you to take shower, you will have to have your shower at the... More
