Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

We stayed here for a week on a motorhome Auto-Trail Owners rally. Dolly and Dougie who manage the site were excellent hosts, involving themselves with the rally. They are friendly, very approachable, work hard and the site is excellent. Laundry, washing up facilities, showers and toilets blocks absolutely spotless. Look forward to going back next year.

Had a wonderful 3 nights here at the end of August with family and friends. Had a non-electric pitch which was generous in size and located opposite the play park which was great to keep an eye on the kids. Husband and wife who greeted us were really lovely and we’re always happy to help with anything. They also kept the place spotless. Play park was great for the kids. Will come again. 5*

Lovely site however one large group ruined it with there singing, swearing, shouting and music until midnight every night. Currently having the pleasure of one of their children swinging back and forth on the squeaky swing in the park at 23.00hrs !! Avoid August bank holiday as they come every year apparently. The site rules state parties must finish at 21.30hrs with absolute silence from 23.00hrs. Shame this isn't enforced by the wardens despite complaints from many !! Certainly has put us off from returning.

Our first visit to Harford Bridge and won’t be our last . We were greeted by a lovely lady named Dolly who guided us to our pitch by the river . Unfortunately the weather was bad so we didn’t get to have a good walk round the site that night , but it was very peaceful and we had a spot by the river . It was a 50 minute walk into Tavistock . Lovely park for children . We will be returning at some point . Lovely to meet you Dolly

The new couple working as wardens at the park are brilliant and so lovely. It was a shame to see the same lady in reception that is very unfriendly and rude. The gent also on reception was not friendly and together they did not make a good impression on arrival. They put us off going into the shop. Facilities need updating a lot and are a 2 star at best. shower was not clean. Time to not use shower curtains!! They attract a lot of germs. We have visited many times and telephone to make the booking. it is lovely that they offer repeat customers discount. however the lady got the pitch wrong and booking was not right. we had requested pitch 12 and got a completely different one on arrival without electric. Great childrens park and scenary but some of the staff let it down and the facilities desperately need updating.

Park exceptionally clean. Peter Tavy pub about half a mile away, fantastic food and service. Advisable to book. Pretty market town tavistock about 2 miles away. Really friendly helpful park wardens dolly and Derek. This is our 2nd visit to park, only disappointment was the weather left a day early because of torrential 🌧rain. Will be back.

We can't say enough about our favourite campsite, beautiful location, we always park our motorhome by the river. Wardens are terrific, won't find better then Doug and Dolly, always around to lend a hand or have a chat. Facilities are always clean, and nice to have some ducks wandering around. Until next time.

This was our first visit to Harford Bridge and it won’t be our last. We loved it. Helpful and friendly staff. Special shout out to Doug and Dolly who are by far the friendliest wardens we’ve ever come across. Really helpful and laid back. They genuinely want you to enjoy yourselves. Facilities- small play park, games room, immaculate showers that are hot! Small shop that sells the basics, hot drinks and great selection of ice creams. Our pitch backed onto the river and there was plenty of space. Quiet and relaxing site. Exactly what we like. Looking forward to returning this season.
